If it's going to be aired by At-x again, like the first season, then we need not worry about censorship - only about the usual poor image quality of At-x.

yeah, censorship was never an issue with the first season lol. there's going to be even more girls to ogle at as well which i am most looking forwards to.

thinking about it, there might be a good chance that this could get 24 episodes. Season 1 covered volumes 1 and 2 with some side stories. Vol 1 and 2 was all of Arc 1 of the story. Arc 2 though covers volumes 3-6, twice as many volumes. Because SS are their own individual volumes, there won't be much that can be cut out enough to fit all 4 volumes comfortably in 12 episodes. others series could manage because SS are part of regular volumes and can be cut out from them but dxd volume chapters (minus SS volumes) are main story chapters.

Well, wishfully speaking I'd want it to end at vol 6 since the great red swimming around while they all look and talk would be a nice way to end and lovely in paving way to a possible season 3

But yeah I can see it ending at vol 4 with a bit more of SS chapters

the problem with that is that it is only half way through the arc. It is a good place but just saying.

But if you pack 4 volumes with possible side stories, you get something like campione or ZnT F

I think they will try to keep the pace constant compared to S1, since it proved to be popular enough to do another season.

Well if they were to do 1 cour then it would finish at volume 4. Actually from volume 5, they expand the world by introducing other mythology/religion such as Norse, Greek, and Buddhism. So I can imagine the TV series following the LN except they will tweak a bit of the last episode to make it more like a complete ending if its just one-cour. I just hope they will make a figma for Ise and the other guy...... Im in desperate need for more action figures.
