Game purchases for the rest of 2007 and games you look forward to

Hey all, in this thread, you share what games you wish to buy/acquire that have just come out (like Metroid Prime 3 or Bioshock) or other games coming out this year. Also, you can share what games you look forward to in 2008.

I have a Wii and a PSP, and plan to get a DS this fall, probably for my birthday. There are so many great games coming out on all platforms, I've already have a ton of games I want to buy on just those three systems.

For the Wii I want:

Metroid Prime 3
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Zack and Wiki
Guilty Gear Accent Core (Christmas Gift)

For the PSP:

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops + (next year)

For the DS:

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Final Fantasy III (next year)

Whew, that is 13 games, 10 for this year! I'll have plenty on my plate. Some games I'll end up putting aside until 2008 to play.

For upcoming games in 2008, there is Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Online. I didn't want to buy a PS3 until a couple of price drops, but I think I'll just save up for one and get it when Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out. There are some PS3 games coming out this year I'd like to get sometime in 2008, namely Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty 4: Mordern Warfare. Other 2008 PS3 titles I look forward to are Final Fantasy XIII and Soul Calibur IV.

For Wii, I'm intent on buying Mario Kart when it comes out early next year, as well as Dragon Quest Swords. I'm sure more Nintendo franchises will hit in 2008, possibly a new F-Zero, Pikmin, and Star Fox. I'll definitely keep an eye on those. And I will keep an eye on Soul Calibur Legends, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, and Rygar. I'm taking a wait and see approach with them. I'm also taking a wait and see approach with Nights, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Batallion Wars 2, and Nitro Bike, due out this year. If they score well or decently, I might pick them up in 2008 during a slower period for the games market.

For the DS, I'm anticipating Dragon Quest IX and the 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV. Also, there are remakes of Dragon Quest numbers IV, V, and VI coming out in 2008. If they come to NA, I think I'll buy a couple of those titles.

So, what games are you looking to get for the remainder of this year, and what games are you looking forward to or keeping a watch out for in 2008?

My gaming habits have somewhat declined due to more schoolwork, but I'm going to HAVE to pick up Unreal Tournament 3 for the PC. And maybe Gears of War (PC), when it comes out.

I'm most looking forward to Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, and Assassin's Creed.

PS3 is my only option right now, what with my crappy computer and lack of any other recent consoles.

I'm trying my best to not get too crazy with the game purchases due to how very distracting they can be for me so here's my somewhat small list of games that I want and that I'm looking forward to:

For the Wii I'm looking forward to:
Super Smash bros BRAWL
Super Mario Galaxy(Hopefully it's alot better than Sunshine)
Soul Calibur Legends

For the Wii I want and that I intend to get:
Metroid Prime 3:Corruption.

For the X-box 360 I'm looking forward to:
Halo 3
Resident Evil 5

For the PS2 I'm looking forward to:

For the PS2 I want:
Raw Danger

For the DS I'm looking forward to:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations

As for the PS3 I was Debating on whether or not I should get it now but in the end I came to the conclusion that due to the lack of games It really would be best to at least wait for Metal Gear Solid 4 to come out before I decide to buy an insanely expensive system. I also want Heavenly sword for it as well.

I also intend to get a PSP along with Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops this Christmas.

Seriously? because I heard that this game suck it got 4.9 in Ign and it got 4.5 on Gamespot.

lol yes I have been looking for it like forever (a year or more) and if you knew my obsession with dragons then you would also know I dont give a dang about game reviews (oh they dident like it so what, I dont give a crud what they think I don't lisen to anything but experience)

Yeah, that is totally understandable. I looked at my post again and decided to get two games next year when they are cheaper. Also, I have one game I'll ask for Christmas. So that leaves ten games I'll buy for myself, and eleven in total for the rest of the year. That is more managable. Finding a way to afford it all isn't that bad, but I don't want to buy more games than I can handle (meaning, buy so many, I don't play through them all). Even still, I will wait till next year to play through some purchases. For example, I intend to play FF T this year and play Disgaea next year. I want to buy it this year instead of later because it will become hard to find.
