Manga 'Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!' (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated) is getting an anime adaptation. Coming this Summer 2021.

Synopsis

Quote:

Once respected as the Demon Realm's second greatest authority, the Demon King's aide, Jahy, ruled her subjects with fear. But when a magical girl attacks and destroys a mystic gem containing massive power, the Demon Realm is destroyed.

Although she survives, Jahy has lost almost all of her powers and finds herself stranded in the human world with a childlike appearance. In order to gather more mystic gems so that she can permanently restore both her original form and the Demon Realm, Jahy will have to adjust to her new life and deal with everyday problems that she has never experienced before. From working to pay for living expenses to arguing with her landlord whenever her rent is late, the great Jahy will not be discouraged!

Little Jahy-sama is adorable as heck. Love how she is not above working for her money, even if she is trying to dodge rent. Now if she could just learn to be happy about the little things her life could be a lot better.

The Magical Girl was really effective. Ignored the 2nd in command and went straight for the Mana crystal, ending the dark realm in one strike. Real pro move.

Boss is totally in control of Jahy-sama though, not even the transformation into a loli shocked her. XD

I just learned that Magical Girl is being voiced by Uesaka Sumire. Considering that Jahy is being voiced by Oozora Naomi I guess that makes this show practically Uzaki-chan vs Nagatoro.

Somehow it ain't really sad watching Jahy cry, because you always get to see what kind of easy and luxurious life she had before her fall into the human world. Like she's getting a bit of humiliation there on her quest to restore the dark realm. And it is quite funny to watch her struggle so much while demons like Druj who were her servants back then now live the rich and easy life. xD
At least she got one Mana crystal, at a high cost, but she got it.^^

Much as I said about the PV, not enough Smug Jahy in Episode 1. I did like how it flowed, though. Can't wait to see how closely they follow the manga as this show gets deeper into its run.

I especially cannot wait for Kokoro-chan.

Druj is killing Jahy with her humbleness while totally outperforming the Nr.2 of the dark realm in every aspect. xD
Being Jahy's wallet must be a life in constant pain though, that 3 day payment treatment was so much, just to protect her pride.^^;

Jahy being so proud that she's constantly duped into doing good things is such a pleasant part of this series.

I liked the space pirate ending to episode 3. The cat head silhouette on her pirate hat was cute.

That this is 2-cour for some reason 2. It is actually 20 episodes. So they just decided to broadcast the anime a few weeks later than the other anime. You know, kinda how after a lot of people have decided what anime they plan to watch?
