Huh? Already watched the episode? I'm only downloading it at the moment and it's already awfully late here.

Hmm saw the first episode raw...good thing I have some game knowledge or I wouldn't have been able to understand a lot of things I watched

As previously stated by previous posters, I'm enjoying how the story is moving. I was confused at why D.C.II was shown the way it is, but it makes perfect sense now given how the episode played out. The ED made me really sad though...

Spoiler for game reference:

And by the way, a reminder to those who've played the game or know about it. Spoiling what happens in the game is obviously not allowed no matter what, but let's at least do non-game-players a favour by putting all game-related conversation in clearly-marked spoiler tags. Reasons should be obvious, I hope.

I really wonder if they're still going to pursue Nanaka's story, now that Anzu, Yume and Otome are still waiting in the wings...

The OP seems a lot "slower" for me, compared to the last OP. I wouldn't mind listening to it though. And they finally highlighted the proper people too. The ED had nice shots too, including this:

Lastly, I'd like to thank good ol' KBTKaiser for managing to spoil me on the manga version's plotline... I'm betting that they're going for that approach.

P.S. I'd die from laughing if they try to sneak in an Aisia cameo somewhere along the season... especially since she already has a role in the PS2 port.

By the way, I just tried translating the opening-theme. No particular reason, I was just bored. Also, being that my knowledge of japanese is... not very good, I propably got a lot of it wrong, but whatever, at least I managed to get some sort of meaning out of it, though not all of it quite made sense.
Spoiler for My almost definitely incorrect translation of Sakura Amaneku Sekai:

Would someone with a bit more knowledge of japanese please tell me if I got it right? Honestly, I seriously doubt that I didn't mistranslate anything, but I just want to know.

Last edited by Vegard Aune; 2008-04-10 at 15:00. Reason: Because I realised that I over-emphasised the fact that I'm not that good at japanese.

Gah! Don't bring up DCSG! only the fluent ones know what happens, so stop confusing the unprivelidged before scanlations come out. >>;

As for my thoughts on the episode, all I can say is that I'm blown away.

Watched it late at night. I liked the episode a lot. I tried hard to understand what they were saying but some parts missed me. They even tried to settle things with Koko somehow. Not very successful though. It sounded more like auto-suggestion or auto-training.

Geh. I just watched eps 1, and I don't know I'm watching the dcII anime, or reading/listening the game.

Lots of lines and scenes are direct ported from the game...

Just saw ep1

What I found good about it:
They finally fixed one of the biggest complaints about the end of last season
Spoiler for episode 1:

What's even better:
It finally feels like the story's focusing on the "real" main characters

Well, the producers got their work cut out for them after the dissapointment that was season1, judging from this ep, hopefully they're on the right track

A little something to help (or maybe not )
Spoiler for Part of what will hopefully make s2 great:

As a bonus, here are images featuring the first generation! Enjoy
Spoiler for the old Da Capo:

And finally my favorite images... It seems to be a series but I only got these two, and I'm hoping there are more featuring the other characters (will kill for the Shirakawa image ) Anybody got the rest? I'd search the old threads if I had the time (which I don't ) but if they're there please tell me
Spoiler for Nemu and Miharu:

Otome <33333, yea

But so far this can swing either way between the both of them. It comes down to yoshiyuki (uhoh) to make the choice, and I will see tears by the end of this
Though it is cruel if this ends up with the two sisters getting one each other's throats (but Otome's character is more reassuring).

whawhawha???
Otome and Yume are going to duke it out for Yoshiyuki...

Actually, I see a way for the end of the Yume path to be integrated into the story without disturbing the end of the Otome path. Since iirc, there are some plot holes left by the Yume path that is told in the Otome/DC path. You are right though...there be many tears shed later on

@relentless
