Speaking of Devices, can anyone confirm the rumor that Raising Heart never had a registered user before Nanoha?

I forget where I heard it, but supposedly Yuuno was only a "guest user", and -- however old it is, or for whomever it was intended or whatever purpose for which it was made -- it never recognized a master until Nanoha.

If this is true, was it mentioned in an interview or a manual or something?

Curiously i also think i remember something among those lines being mentioned but i can't recall exactly if it was on Season 1 or The MOVIE 1st or some supplemental material.

It will require re-watching in order to confirm that i guess.

Pretty sure that is said in the movie, during its first setup.

BTW, if this information is legitimate, you won't find it in the first season anime.

Maybe in supplementary materials for the first season, or interviews from that time, but not in the episodes themselves.

I watched a clip on youtube, and it says before that: "Welcome, new user. Your magic level qualifies you to use me." And asks about configuration.

Nothing that suggests she's the first and only registered user.

It was mentioned in the MOVIE 1st pamphlet.TV series has never mentioned it.

Checked the wiki--it also cites the movie manga chapter 8, page 7 for more details on Raising Heart's back-story. The first panel says "The first time she [Raising Heart] opened her heart was towards [Nanoha]".

Just looked through the movie manga again, and I cannot find the words that say Yuuno found it in a ruin. I would have sworn they were in the same chapter on the same pages as the information about Yuuno = only guest and Nanoha = only master.

But the wiki says that the pamphlet is the one that mentions how Yuuno found Raising Heart in a ruin.

Does the pamphlet mention if it was a ruin on Midchilda, or is "found in a ruin" basically all it says?

I don't know for sure but considering Raising Heart is a very Mid-Childan device it will be rare for her to be a Device from a different culture.
