Explain what you mean. If you mean why they don't just build a moat to stop the titans, it's because the titans aren't afraid of drowning so it would only hinder them fighting the titans by giving the titans a place to pop out from where they can't reach them.

So 10 volumes already and now it looks like plot is start to roll atlast.

It has been good until now and prolly gets much better now on.

I'm also thinking, this is some sort of weird conspiracy. As in, everyone in the world are just titans, and the "humans" who are there are just titans without the ability to transform (yet).

Or maybe everyone was a titan from the beginning or at some point, humanity started to "evolve" into them. Because they still haven't said shit about how the titans came to exist and why they only target humans

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. There is no such thing as a titan. They're people. Here lies the problem. It seems some people can turn into them by will and some just became them for no specific reason. I'm guessing the people who can control their power would be considered as outcasts since it seems the church has a lot of power in that regard.

IMO, the true identify of Colossal Titan and Armoured Titan are plot holes. In chapter 39, Reiner really scare to be dead when enage Titan in the fort, he also want marry Historica and realize Ymir was the titan eat his friend thus he must hate titan and has love with human. But in chatper 42, he suddenly become Armoured Titan and want to wipe out human!?.

That's no plotholes because :

1- the titans are all probably humans to begin with, that's pretty obvious by now and Reiner seems to know everything about that ... thus if he hates the titans -> he hates the humans. Also no problem with him marrying Historia either in that case
2- their true identity were already hinted to be the two titans way long before chap 39. You can find the wall of text on mangafox ...
3- the question remains as to why they didn't transform when they were attacked, the answer lies in the fact they were sent inside the walls to accomplish a mission. But we won't know until they're captured and their circumstances explained, so better tone that subject down for now.

After reading that psychic-like deduction in mangafox, I'd like to think that this series won't have any obvious plothole. We should just wait until everything comes to light before analyzing the plot (in other words, save your analysis until the series ended)

Spoiler for Reason why Ymir attack Reiner and Bertholdt:

My theory is that somehow the royals deep inside Wall Sina orders Ymir to kill all the people at Reiner and Bertholdt villages because they may be part of the titan clan or knew too much about the wall or titan history. Somehow both Reiner and Bertholdt survive the attacks and plot to annihilate all the people living inside the walls. In regards to how Titan exist, its pretty much link to human experimentation for human warfare. In the early stage, when human become titan, they have no intelligence but after years of research and modification, the later generation were able to retain their will and intelligence in controlling the Titan form.

In regards to why Reiner and Bertholdt is interested in killing the Royals, we could easily trace from Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt interest in joining the Military Police that protect the Royal and Noble Families. I also believe Eren father is part of Reiner and Bertholdt clans that plot to destroy the Royals hiding inside Sina Wall due to the fact that Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt wanted to capture Eren alive was a direct order from Eren father.

Are you really sure they're running to wall rose at that timeline? AFAIK, it's not confirmed when or where that scene happened.

By the way, I don't really think it's necessary to use spoiler tag for translated chapters.

IMO, those Circumstantial Evidence don't make senses to me, since Annie can befriend with Reiner during training or "Just how much do you know about that titan?" don't make Reiner know all about Titans, everyone can ask that when Armin said about Erner Titan; chapter 15, page 21, author can draw random person in that screen and also his art at that time is not good and hard to tell he is Reiner since a lot of other guys have same type hair too ; also Colossal Titan is skinless-hairless, can't say that is Berthold depend on appearance, if appearnce can be easily realize, Eren can realize him already and Armoured Titan at first appearance, he look like a fifty-year old man than young boy v.v..

Just finished the whole 43 chapters right after watching the 1st episodes of the anime, and man how intense this series is! And is it just me or Mikasa is incredibly moe when she chops down titans with that expressionless face?!
