Ok, making the veteran-duo constantly loose is too much even for me.
It's like no matter how much they train they will never win when it counts.
At least give them something other than a tittle-match.

Anyhow, Itagaki wins by awakening new BS superpowers again..... what a surprise.

And I really wish that Mori would give Aokimura a break and give them a freaking proper victory, for cryin' out loud. As was already noted, we can only have so many mud-fights that result in decision wins. That's why, even if the possibility is small, I'm hoping that Aoki can somehow obtain a comeback victory from that Frankenstein-looking dude....

So some new guy comes along, is trained by Maron for a few months and levels up to world level? Seriously, Kimura lost in half a chapter off-screen and Aoki has a death flag, while Ippo is still in the middle of fighting asian national champions. I wouldn't be surprised if Takemura conquers all 6 classes before Ippo has his match against a high world ranker.

Man this is one of the few time i can feel the rage from Takamura. I recall the last time he was this angry outside the ring was Hawk knocking the old man.

On a lighter note, I guess the picture promise between Aoki and Kimura is void now.

Seems like Kimura will move up a class and challenge him for the title. Boxer Aoki will probably retire, if and only if he will pull a comeback like Kimura did ('different' stage name).

If Aoki retires like everyone is speculating, Kimura could move up in weight class like everyone says get revenge and get Aoki to unretire since he would be the only one of the 3 without a title old school gym members without a title.

I'm still pissed about this too, especially with Kimura having such a great match against Mashiba and for someone who regularly sparring with Ippo and Miyata you'd think he get some break.

As for Aoki, he was suppose to be more athletic than Kimura and based on his baseball poweress, his hand-eye coordination and reflex should be top of the the gym. Now that the mystery was solved that with his eye-shutting problem, you'd things would click for him but no.....

ippo will most likely fight someone ranked a little higher than him. i don't really see Miyata going for Ricardo.he's reserved for ippo. hope he has a match outside Japan. go to america to face a ranker and meet up with Volg again. be an undercard in his title fight.

Miyata will go for wbc. then when they have both won world titles they face each other.

feel bad for Sendo he is the one who is going after ricardo. it'd be great if Sendo fights Ricardo before ippo. though i doubt that'll happen his ranking is too low.

I'm surprised that he still hold a top ten world ranking, I had imagined he'd be somewhere 20-30 and fight another 1000 chapters to get into top ten Ippo vs itagaki still in the air. With Ippo moving up, Itagaki can get the title for free, will he change gyms or fight Ippo in a 10 round 'spar' to prove himself? __________________
