Chiyu's avatar is cute, though her personality doesn't seem to fit her special ability. Then again, it is supposed to be based of their internal mind.

True enough that Chiyu doesn't seem like someone who wants to "heal" people or anything like that. However, there's more than one way to heal wounds, and she's been going on about her central trauma for the whole ep; not to mention that she's been brought to tears on account of that trauma before. All things considered, I think Chiyu's actual power really fits her well, though it's not immediately apparent. Anyway, for those who already know what her power really is I'm wondering...

Spoiler for Concerning the power and applications:

It's to turn back time, right? Make things like they were before, as she so desperately wants to do. If this is so, wouldn't that make this even more powerful than a mere healer? I mean, it should be able to reverse ANYTHING, for allies and enemies alike. If that's the case then she can neutralize any power-up, and even if she faces that King with Healing ability, she can make it like the spell was never cast...

Heh, I was sort of somewhat expecting Chiyu to be a healer type. I love it, her personality is different from her class it's funny.

Haru's fantasies, I guess loyal honorable elite guards of the Queen are still human after all.

Someone please remind me again what are the attributes for being a green character?

Certainly a reintro episode for Chiyu, that Noumi guy is very suspicios, reminds me of Tsuchiya Kouto by his looks .

Green characters are primarily defense oriented.

That was an interesting episode. This new guy brings about a sort of tension that is a little scary. He is using a burst ability that no one else seems to be able to detect. Most likely he is or has help from the yellow legion. However, judging by the preview, he looks to be a black avatar.

The other aspect of the episode is focus primarily on Chiyu and her Lime Bell avatar. Spoilers have already abound in the thread in regards to her true ability, so I will not comment any more on it.

It seems like she is concerned with trying to get the friendship back to the way it was before; however, it is almost to bring back what was once lost before. Even if she joins Nega Nebulous, it will be the 4 of them, including Black Lotus. I can't imagine her joining any other legion, however, since it would be a stab in the back against Haru and Taku, and she would probably permanently damage that relationship. I hope she is smarter than that.

Now, the last concern is how Taku and Haru will be able to defend their territory without Black Lotus. Considering that they are better fighters now, I expect them to handle that pretty well. I assume Chiyu can't join Nega Nebulous until Black Lotus gets back, so Lime Bell will probably not be a help.

Btw, I miss NIKO...

I think it is more of a dark purple.

Now then for the episode, I wonder which king is the healer? It can't be Blue or Red considering their offensive nature. Yellow is out as well. That would leave Green, White and Purple. I am leaning towards White because the traditional color for healers in MMO's.

Haru is lucky to choose any favor from KYH if he does a good job. Hopefully, he would be smart not to ask for food.

Ah ok, upon closer look, you are right. Dang the dark shadows.

That means he is a multi-range attack specialist. It's a guy, so therefore, it equals enemy. Can't have another guy join Haru's harem... err.. Nega Nebulous.

I understand that other legions might want her, but what would they be afraid of scouts for? Are they afraid that she will be bombarded with offers that it will feel like spam email? It's not like she has much to fear, unless they feel that the others need to eliminate her ASAP, which is unlikely the case given her unique talents.

Of course, if they feel they must keep her to themselves, then I guess that could be understandable to fend off potential suitors. However, that seems more like self-interest than what is best for Lime Bell.

Either way, I feel that Lime Bell would not betray Haru and Taku unless she wants to totally destroy their friendship, which she is so adamently trying to recover.

Originally, I had the thought that it was Purple, given how KYH was so jealous and adament about not giving any details. It was almost as if the person was her parent in Accel World, whom she equally does not want to share information about.

Knowing Haru, he will probably ask for something really dumb and upset KYH. She gave him a free pass, and he'll probably ask for ice cream.

Btw, what I found most strange was that why didn't Haru and Taku just ask KYH directly what she sensed in the assembly? It would have resolved so much more than them just doing guesswork.

Regarding earlier posts in this thread, I want to remind all novel readers that absolutely no novel spoilers are permitted in anime threads. No hints, no suggestions, no pointers -- nothing that will be revealed in the future. I deleted a bunch of posts already, but this will be my last warning. We do have a number of other places now where these spoilers are okay.

You're right. I could easily see Haru asking for something silly.

KYH would not also know as well. I am sure she checked the matching list at that time but could not find anything.

I like Chiyu avatar, but it does not suit her personality. Re-watched Chiyu special attack a few times and notice a clock inside her arm (cannon like). I wonder if its a mini time machine.

Ironically, Chiyu Accel avatar has smaller boobs than her real self and vice versa for KYH. These 2 girls are opposites, no matter where they go... defensive vs. offensive.

Also hope they show doesn't crap on Taku non-stop from now on... Feels like he some sort of testing dummy and Haru gets the glory after.

Lime Bell looks really cool. The fact that she can fill up her bar by poking walls without losing HP is really broken combined with healing prowess. Of course her downside is she is totally vulnerable. As a gamer myself, the usual "go for the healer first, then the others" tactic is what I would consider if I was their enemy. Then again, they take it to the next level and probably want to recruit her, not fight her.

And what I really hope for is that she will get along with KYH in real life because so far she's only been concerned with "us 3". I think those two would make great friends.

Also, that plushie heaven is awesome...

Yup, I know. The problem is that you were replying to someone else who did just "spill the beans" as it were, so at that point you were speculating on what was now revealed, and that's why I had to delete your post too. (You were "under the influence of spoilers". ) Anyway, that's a big reason why we don't want spoilers in the threads, because they tend to grow/spread and get mixed in with people's speculation, which then gets clarified/corrected, and it just grows from there. We have a bunch of other useful threads now that can be better-used for this.

Yeah, her boobs for Lime Bell was the first thing I noticed as well. They just did not match up to her real life. Strange, since Niko was almost a perfect match for her avatar.

As for choice in avatar, it was explained in the early episodes that your avatar is a representation of your concerns, trauma, and weaknesses. I guess you can say that she wants to protect what she originally had, which is her friendship with Taku and Haru.

Also, I speculated awhile back that the special ability an avatar has is what is needed to overcome that weakness. Hence, Lime Bell's special ability should be related to somehow overcome her concerns, so you could be right.

However, I could be wrong. I mean, would it be accurate to say that Black Lotus' strength to overcome her weakness was to severe all ties? Or to say Scarlet Rain's strength was to fend off all who are far from her or protecting her small stature? However, we don't really know enough back story on Black Lotus to make any accurate guesses. She sure does not like a lot of people, however.

Which brings another point. Once you reach level 9, have you been able to conquer your weakness and fears in real life?
