I'm not gonna even bother but surprisely I'm alittle excited for the continuation. I never finished reading the manga but I already know what happens anywayz.

Hopefully the anime keeps up the good music too :]

is this anime separate from the ova that will show some sword power ups? lol its been so long since i wathced any inuyasha anime/movie that i totally forgot to check up on series updates.

thats true but i was under the impression that theyd let one character steal the stage for the ova. im just not sure if they planned an actual anime to focus on the seemingly neverending quest to kill nakaru ie 12-26 ep run.

At this year's San Diego Comic-con, Viz announced that they have licensed the upcoming Inuyasha anime. No details were announced about when and how the release would be made.

In case anyone is curious, I did some math, and here are my results.

There are a total of 126 canonical episodes in the first series. (41 non) These episodes adapted the first 35 manga volumes. So...

126 / 35 = 3.6

Meaning that there is an average of 3.6 episodes for every manga volume. There are 21 volumes of the manga left to animate, and I heard from an unamed source that at one point Sunrise said they wish to not include filler and that is why the waited to make the rest of the show. So...

21 * 3.6 = 76

So, my guess is that this show will be a three core series, which would consist of 78 episodes.

I was bored...

I don't know if I can get back into the series now. I left so early on because they were just doing the same thing over and over. I might check out the final episode of this new one just so I can watch Naraku FREAKING DIE!
