Between Black Star and Naruto: I think Black Star actually has more natural skill as a ninja/assassin, while Kyuubified Naruto simply has more potential--and retardedly high stamina. As for mental ability... it's probably safe to say that they're equally stupid.

But I digress. The cool thing about Black Star is that he's not entirely talk. They made him out to be such a dumbass that by the time he actually managed to pwn someone, I found myself cheering for the kid.

Black Star and Tsubaki make a terrific pair. Tsubaki's a super sweet gal with brain to even out Black Star's brawn. The show hints at a possible romantic attachment on her end, but don't they always do that in a shounen series? ...Hope they don't play that up, as Black Star could probably use a dog trainer more than a girlfriend.

yea, pretty much same thing I think about Black Star too.
I hate Narutos shouting about never giving up all the time, while Black Stars shouting about surpassing God is alot more entertaining.

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of relationship development between Black Star and Tsubaki. But then I think no one can have Tsubaki as she is just uber cute!

I want to see more from Black Star I think he has potential but he is not using it to his fullest . I would love to see soul synchro of Tsubaki and Black in the future.

Well making a spectacle of himself and as a result dumping the assassin plans isn't helping to reach his potential to be sure

. Am pretty curious myself to see what a soul resonance with that pair could accomplish. Have seen what the other two main teams can do, so hopefully we'll see that eventually.

I think I can agree to this.

At first, Black Star's noisiness kinda reminds me of Naruto, but after reading more of the manga I feel that he is soooo much more better than that orange punk

Both story wise and personality wise.

B*S is around 13. Tsubaki's age has never been given, but I'd say it's a toss-up between her and Liz being the oldest of the group. With her height, 17ish, maybe?

Black*Star gets on my nerves because at first he was just shouting out random nonsense like surpassing God only to get owned by Death, but I when he gets serious I like him because he is no longer a blue haired Naruto, he is actually strong and does something:

Naruto: 'I'm gonna be Hokage one day!'
Black*Star: 'I'm gonna surpass God!'
Sasuke: Naruto you suck compared to me
Death: Black*Star you suck compared to me, SASUKE HIGH SYMMETRICAL FIVE!
Sasuke: Yeah *does high symettrical five*

Tsubaki needs to slap some sense into Black Star and make him grow up though he is too unstable

Anyone think that Black Star being so annoying and everyone hating him is what the author is trying to do so it backs up how Tsubaki is one of the few people that can be his partner?

How is Black Star anything like Naruto?! He has more arrogance than him I'll admit, but his combat skill is much more akin to Sasuke when he's serious. He doesn't win fights because he'll "Never give up", he wins them because of his skill and proficiency.
