They're playing it safe. If they're doing the minor character routes it's 24 episodes.

And yeah, drmr, they're playing it safe. We won't know the length for sure until the website announces the DVD release schedule. But I am very positive myself that it won't be 13. It'll either be 24, 23+1, or 12.

Only way they could do that is skip the other routes, and condense the After Story into something smaller and less epic. But it is possible if the Haruhi-ists get there way.

On a side note: I asked this a few days ago whether SS-Eclipse would sub this but never got a definite answer (and now I know why). Anyway I just found this fansubwiki website which I'm sure most of you veterans already know about, however I'll leave it here just the same for those unaware, might come handy in future.

Yeah. Personally, I feel like the Haruhiists have been waiting 2 years for a season 2, so what's another 3 months? You then will get a proper Clannad season 2, as well as a likely 24 episode Haruhi.

For SS-Eclipse, I asked a friend, and he said he asked them and they said they were doing it. I see no reason why they wouldn't. It's going to be the same as last year probably. Except I think Aquastar is in the Sprocket-TWH joint.

I hope they dont show that route it was only interesting cause the main character pretended to be her bf but he cant do that this time around since he has nagisa and i dont want to see mei get hurt cause of her brother idiocy and i dont want to see the soccer club bully her

I thought the Sunohara route was one of the best, to be honest. I guess Sunohara, Yukine, and Kappei for the first half of the season?

I liked the Sunohara Siblings route myself in the game, but it doesn't fit in the anime really, even though Nagisa wouldn't mind Tomoya doing something like that.

Whoa, how could I forget Misae? Though I feel like she'd be a better OVA, since it's like 80% flashback. Though she is pretty pivotal to the story in general.

Got my first glimpse at what was either the OP or the ED while viewing TLR live this week. Got to say, they captured the feel of After Story perfectly! Nice and slow, and very much like Air's ED. I'm excited.

If it sounded like Air's ending, I'll assume that it was the ED you heard, as the opening apparently sounds like... Well... Air's opening.
By the way, in case you know the soundtrack like the back of your hand, did it sound like any of the game BGM? I heard that the opening, at least, was based on a BGM-track from the game.
