I wouldn't necessarily say that with the Cell processor. This kind of work is what the Cell was made for.

Well, yeah, the PS3 is not a true game console. It's more of an entertainment center. If you want to believe Sony, it's even a "computer".

As for me I really don't care, this world is mighty populated as it is, what's a few percentage of people dropping.

I'm of the same opinion, but only for natural disasters, and maybe, war. Your opinion will likely change when someone you hold dear gets cancer.

Not really. That's just random PR rubbish. Sony's said similar things about the 360 and Wii on countless occasions

I do find it funny that he said the PS3's library is mostly filled with shooters, even though its currently true, 360 has a lot more shooters on the way than the PS3.

But yea, the 360 was in the same situation last year. Let them get their cheap shots in though, they nor Sony have been in this situation before. It will be entertain to watch how it all unfolds in the end :P

The Playstation 3 has officially become the fastest-selling home console in the UK over its launch weekend. A reported 165,000 PS3 units were snatched from shelves, besting the Wii's 105,000 launch units and the Xbox 360's 70,000. The PSP still holds the top speed record (185,000 units) as a handheld, but we doubt that's the sort of caveat that will bother the folks at Sony.

Not surprising, they did have all that extra time to save up money to buy one :P

GTA IV is a bit overrated to me, but I still like to play them nonetheless. Normally get bored of it in about 2 weeks. I don't think I've ever completed a GTA before, actually.
