ah, okay got it. but can they cancel the 2nd season if the 1st was epic fail? your last sentance just confused me. the one about not being able to make season 2 without it being green lit from start. that kind of seemed to cover both cases you described, wether 2nd season planned or not.

Ah, sorry about that. The main gist of that sentence is "half year later," if second season were decided by sales after anime finished airing, the gap between two seasons would be much larger. Don't know about cancelled shows though, but seemingly successful bunkatsu 2 cour anime are rare, yet none have been cancelled so far… at least on the surface.

This show is simple beautiful. The last episode proved again that Shaft was capable of directing a dramatic scene when they decided to do it. And the Anubis scene made me laugh so hard. lol Definitely one of the best of 2010.
I hope that it will have second season.

If that little cameo in Pani Pony Dash was anything to go by, I'd assume that Soredemo might actually hold a special place within the hearts and minds of the Shaft employees which should hopefully mean that a 2nd season could be rather imminent
Wishful thinking never hurt anyone right? lol

Whether or not this modest gem of a show receives a second season, the first season has been full of win. Quirky, endearing, heady, from its inviting stories, to its wonderful gallery of characters, to its living breathing settings, to its eccentric sensibility. Pure bliss.

Despite being a SHAFT fan, I did not like their latest shows (Arakawa, Arashi, and loli-bund), but this one restored my faith in the studio; and with a mahou shoujo, as well as Maria Holic S2, coming, I get excited.
Concerning the maids, Kon was priceless, and the last episode was both original and excellent ... as I used to expect from the studio |

Finally got round to watching the last ep and well I was wondering if they were gonna put these chapters into the anime and they sure did.
It was a great way to wrap up the show. One thing about these chapters was I didn't know if to feel pity or faceplam at Hotori's destruction of a MontBlanc fountain pen Such a great little series that had me laughing loads and I can only hope we get a 2nd season, I need more of this bumbling trio! I hope to see more from Yazawa Rieka, she was great as Kon and singing the ED. Also the OP and ED are some of the best of the year, especially the ED.

Tatsuno can get Sanada. Leaving Hotori free for Kon. Anyway, great series overall. Have been long since one more anime reached my "masterpiece" mark Quote:
PS: did they refine the ED in ep 12?

^ Cheers for the heads up! Glad to see it's all being nicely touched up upon
I had a feeling there'd be panty flashing in the DVD/BD's though (not really a fan of it all too much to be honest... lol)

Lots of changes as expected from Shaft. The most amusing one is Futaba's new dance (which I'm curious to see animated): they only changed it to add a pantyshot (she wears shimapan! Somehow, I'm not surprised)
