[Kanon]

The Shiori scene was so adorable. Loved how they communicated through the notebook.

The Yui part was nice as well. Player vs Player... that's new for Keima. At least he won't have to work too hard raising her affection points since she's already all over him.

My favorite dialogue from this episode was when the random girl double-wrapped his food, and he said he wouldn't capture her even if she had a loose soul because he was so moved by her concerns.

Oh well... Looks like things didn't went out well as was planned for Ayumi part. The same I could say for Tsukiyo's too, but the rest were doing fine.

The role-playing with Shiori was amusing, while Yui's part was unpredictably freaky, especially the cross-dressing notion.

But still, five-timing 'date' isn't a smart idea, as any unpredictable events would occur anytime which would derail the scheduled plan. So don't try this in real-life, cause it'll be funny how it turns out unless you wanna get a big black eye if you were caught in an act red-handed.

I have to agree, that part of the episode was really enjoyable to watch.

Though I also enjoyed Haqua continuing to try to be Elsie . And the other demons looking for the goddess is a bit worrying... wonder where that will go.

Great Episode overall.

Episode 3 reminded me that my favorite girl is Shiori. By a wide margin.

Lol, I guess 5 at once is about as much as Keima can handle. He still has got nothing on Yui though. XD

Miss Tenri and Elsie though.

But yeah, otherwise HanaKana pretty much stole the show. Love the contrast between Shiori and Simone. There's a lot of "HanaKana type" characters here, but now I understand why specifically she got casted as Shiori. Good job if they had the foresight, but otherwise they were just really lucky!

Because Elsie is the ultimate Kanon fangirl, so she can actually emulate her without being caught. On the other hand, Haqua probably only knows who Kanon is because of Keima and Elsie.

Although Haqua's voice actor is a good singer, so maybe she'd be a great Kanon as well?

Why isn't this taken off air yet?!?!? Why do they have to include all those unecessary details about Yui in it?

Having a tight deadline it's much convinience to have Haqua as partner..., she is less clumsy than Elsie...

Unusually though, throughout the series, Elsie DOES get more things done than Haqua. In fact, it's usually Elsie's clumsiness that gets things by a lot easier. Imagine if Haqua was the one during Ayumi's conquest. You don't? Good, I can't either.

In this case, Elsie would have been (arguably) more successful in stalling for time than Haqua.

We'll technically, Elsie didn't do anything out of the ordinary during Ayumi's arc other than make skull balloons for Keima. She couldn't explain the hell contract in detail or what runaway spirits were until Haqua showed up in S2.

(Just to be clear, I don't hate Elsie. She's amazing too!)

However it is critical that Kannon have a stand in to take her place in her idol job while she's out of commission, otherwise it would cause no end of trouble. This is a role that only Elsie can fulfill which is deeply important. The whole reason Haqua is filling in for Elsie is because of this. So Elsie still has important things to do, the only thing she's losing is screen time.

However, we aren't arguing about Elsie's usefulness. We're arguing about Haqua being "more useful" than Elsie, especially during this arc. Haqua is "never more useful" than Elsie, unless it's something Demon-World related.
