Interesting... The cast list for the 2nd drama is particularly Yuuichi Nakamura, Endou Aya, Nakajima Megumi and Hoshi Souichiro. (Eh what is Hoshi Brera doing in a Triangular drama there? D: )

3rd one is particularly a non-Ranka drama?

(No Nakajima mentioning there)

Apparently Megumi Nakajima won the "Best Singer Seiyuu" award

And Aya Endo won the "Best Supporting Actress" award as well. Congrats to both of them and I hope they both have plenty of more successes. 2 winners for Macross Frontier

I would imagine Sheryl, unless she had another role that surpassed her VA for Sheryl.

Well now, I wouldn't know. We would have to ask Kawamori XD I'm not an Aya Endo fan but I'm not sure if she had done any other memorable VA for other good characters last year but I know Sheryl was done well

Sure, her voice acting was quite good across the series, but the point remains: Sheryl wasn't a supporting character. Bobby was. Ozma was. Hell, even Michael and Klan were. But not Sheryl, Ranka or Alto. They were the main protagonists - as determined by the OP and the ED. Hell, Sheryl and Alto were the only main characters identified in the ED for episode 22 (Ranka was listed in the support section).

I've asked this same question over the thread where the results were posted, but so far no reply came. I'm not all that familiar with her work, either.

True, if it was for Sheryl than they must have made a big mistake...I'm curious to what it actually is though.

Like Tak mentioned, the award was probably by either Blassreiter or Lucky Star.

And I just noticed that, on ANN. Somehow, I can't really picture Sheryl's VA doing the character Fresh from Shikabane Hime, myself... Goes to show her versatility.
