Think to Oorai sold their tanks for school budget in 20 years o.O, it is mean they had plenty numbers of tanks, even in leftover tanks, they still have rare Type 3, extreme rare Tiger P. I think they were one of most top school in the past with special non-uniform tanks, look like they made a collection of tanks around the world than a uniform-tank team. Wonder even if they has Maus and body of E-100 =)). The Oorai school chairman of that time maybe is tank lover and artist when combine many type of tank to make a weird team unlike Miho's mother and other schools.

Remember all the deriders of this show in this thread when the first PV came up? Seems like almost every single person got converted.

This show wasn't even in my radar before it aired

But after the first ep. it becomes my favorite show of season.

Wasn't around at the time, but I didn't expect this at all either. After all, I was expecting an everyday anime, like K-On or Upotte, definitely not a sports anime.

Glad I knew Mizushima was directing it, or I might've missed the first few eps.

This is pretty much anime of the season. The latest episode was mind blowing. I too have low expectations for this show, but now it's my favorite show of the season and nothing else comes close for me this season.

I wonder if the match ended in a tied?

Well I never suspected it will surpassed that show since this one actually has lots of action instead of girls doing cute things involving tanks. Well there are scenes where the girls do cute things.

I wanted to see this show as soon as I found out the people making it, plus the tank factor, but I have to say that it's far exceeded my expectations.

this is an anime with matche Tank again later I wonder if there was a new anime with tank but this time the girls would fight the enemy in war would be as popular as it Girl und Panzer ?

gotta say excellent bone rattling episode, and ugh what a cliff hanger, but i think the type 89 will win there, it probably has the stronger armor (plot armor)

i feel the episode has almost everything , a bit of drama with the school situation, the heartwarming speech and funny dance, bits of Katyusha and that russian lullaby (she really is good with russian ne?), comedy like that survey mmissonof rommel and guderian

and who can fault that action sequence ^^, only thing missing is romance Oh wait we have Yukari X tanks

, even the breakout is believable (somewhat) with katyusha intentionally putting a weak spot and, the Oarai girls going for the strong spot, way to do the unexpected. Also the bad weather was to the Oarai girls advantage. I think the gunners viewport of Anzu showed it best what the gunners were dealing with, as in why all the misses.

But wow, Anzu such a good shot wonder why Momo was doing all of that earlier, with the school on the line , ahehe oh well. Nonna of course is probably the best gunner yet shown.

quite a satisfying episode, now i wish more than ever for a follow up season. like why not a college tourney with Tanks up to say Korea or Vietnam war era? and then pro league with no restrictions. possible right? after all it's stranger for such an established sport to remain in High School only.

EDIT : Oh hey what's that tank model used by the Anteater team in the ED?

Wow!! This episode is pretty much amazing and full of tankservice to boot...

Is it just me or I just saw a white flag from the upside down 38(t)... how many many flags do these tanks have? I mean everyone will know that an upside down tank is inoperable, right? it was funny...

I was also laughing when Sodoko started shouting at the Prauda team that the IS-2 is not allowed and it's against school regulations...

This episode of GuP has everything and a cliffhanger at end... they sure know how to keep the tension rising... damn! I can't wait for the conclusion...

Yep, there was a flag from the bottom of the 38(t). Those girls really should have helmets on.

There's always time for romance, though it's of the "This is my tank. There are many like it, but this one is mine" variety.
