No no. Gunha will be an overkill for Gensei. So better not have him to do that. I think it's fine for him to keep up the pressure.

It started a new development with Gensei at the end, didn't it? 4 might be good. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up going longer.

I just hope Kamachi doesn't drag the Daihaisei arc for another year ^__^;;

But if it is long enough, we won't have to wait for another FAIL original filler arc by Nagai in Railgun III

But there might be no space for Liberal Arts City arc =w=;;

But considering the chapters are short for majority of the arc, I guess they could combine 1.5~2 chapters into 1 episode

Nah, I don't think that will happen. I just think he wants it to be on a similar scale as the Index counterpart in length as it was 2 volumes, right?

You know he'll probably cut it out or rush the ending to add it!

Probably, he'd want to inject some of his own filler like he did with the Sister's arc though.

But the fact remains how in Railgun season 1 and 2, because they couldn't move onto a new arc due to the next arc still in progress at the time respectively, they had no choice but to add a filler arc.

But from what I can see, if they plan it out well, then they can make Railgun III perfect without much disappointment. It was always the filler arcs that pretty much brought down Railgun's potential as an epic anime.

Overcommitment that leads to failure pretty much.

It's part of the series now though- the filler, unfortunately. As pointed in several interviews too, I think. Director is pretty aware and feels he needs to make an arc that goes back to that supposed season 1 style.

Nagai making his cloverfield stories in Railgun = fail + inconsistency in timeline + characters going out of characters (Mikoto making her weaker friends take part in a fight against a dangerous group)
