I usually don't really consider many of those CGs hard to do. I honestly don't mind. Long as I get help.

Also for a small update. Some prelims for Itsuki and Itsuko sprites. I'd normally post a finished product, but Photoshop hates me and my SAI trial ran out, so it may be a bit before I finish coloring. Unless someone else wants to do it.

Another problem is that your art is quite different from Binjovi's. Well, I guess Photoshop/SAI can fix it. What is you problem with photoshop, by the way?

Ah, I am working on the script right now. To match with Canada's art direction. If no one post in the between, I will edit this post commenting his direction and saying what I have changed from it(and if I should be more faithfull to him).

This scene is a long monologue. So, too fell more "dinamic", I change it. Kyon spend just a little on his kitchen. Then he goes out, in a "Way to School" background (It will be necessery eventually anyway). Then he arrives at school in a “Outside the School” (same as before). He goes to the kitchen after "You know what? Never mind.". To the streets after "…Hilarious." and arrives school after "Nothing special about me whatsoever.".

Anyway, I changed the scenes after "I guess I'll head down to the mall by Kitaguchi Station." and "Guess I should go make sure she's not causing trouble for anybody". And only showed Haruhi after "Yo, Haruhi." (I also added a screen shake effect here. Edit: now just Haruhi shake)

Here I didn't understand. When should I change to the Way Home? I put just after "...of course, 'normal' is relative."

Same issue as the equivalent scene. I am assuming that her room is different from Kyon's, as discussed. I haven't changed the green text yet, however (in any scene). Too troblesome. I may take an intire day to do it so I will not work on it today.

Alright, so the suggestion I have here for this scene... I don't know if it's possible with Ren'py. Two player textboxes. If we have one at the top narrating Kyonko's lines, and one at the bottom narrating Kyon's lines, it would totally work out.
If this is impossible, another option is displaying two lines at once in the normal chatbox. The text would have to be formatted of course so exactly two lines worth of each character's text can fit in at once. This option would be a lot easier to code then the former, I'm sure... lol.
End of Our Room- Parallel Connection

The "Our Room- Parallel Connection" is the only scene of Day 0 I haven't done yet. This is because the dual text is kinda hard and I didn't know how to do. Anyway, I will not change much here. However, when the kyons appear, it will be just for 0.3 seconds, just before the "Huh?" and "Eh?"

For the Prologue, dispite our previous discussion, I will not change anything. For the code, it don't matter what image will appear, but when. My version is the same as your's. It will end with an animation of all previous images looping until you end the scene.

We haven't done the Day One yet. As I said, the greentext is incomplete for now. The same goes for the TV effects, I am still waiting for the images. (Joe? Where are you )

Oh, I have a new image request. This game is going to have a "Skip Scene" feature, just like Fate/Stay Night. I need a background for when we ask the player if he want to skip it. This could also be used as background for the menus (I am not in hurry with this one. It is best wait for the menu desings).

Well, that is it. Your directions are very helpfull, Canada. It might be a good idea you donwload the Renpy. So you could actually see how is going. You could, then, extend you art direction for the scene transition (is hard explain them by fórum).

Oh, I have forgot to ask. In the parallel scene, you said about two text box, one above the other. What I have discussed with danchou, however, was using the same box but with the two lines being displayed at same time. Whith one is better?

Kyonko: …Itsuko…

Itsuko: Hmm?


She turns around, and when she sees me half-bent over in pain, clutching my head, her usual carefully practiced expression changes to one of shock and concern.


Itsuko: A-Are you alright? What’s wrong?

Kyonko: It happened again… the ripples…


The pain, and the noise, is subsiding. I’m fine now, but…


Kyonko: Itsuko, you didn’t notice anything?

Itsuko: Well, no, but I… give me a minute, please.


Itsuko stands up straight, closes her eyes, and appears to focus for a few seconds. What is she doing?

Suddenly, she opens her eyes, her expression of shock returning.


Itsuko: …I can no longer feel him.


Him?


Itsuko: My empathic link with Haruki Suzumiya has been severed.

Kyonko: Severed!?

Itsuko: In its place, I can feel a different presence. However, I cannot get any sort of reading…


Wait, wait. Weren’t we supposed to have stopped existing, or something? This looks just like the normal school, but… Where the hell are we!?

Haaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha!

At that moment, the voices of two people, arguing, reach my ears.


Boy A: So, tell me. Why do we have to spend our lunch hour looking for girls? In the school?

Boy B: Because, don’t you know? North High has the highest pretty-ugly ratio in the whole city. If we look around, we’re bound to find someone who is both hot and willing.

Boy A: Haven’t you memorized the name and face of everyone worth dating in first year?

Boy B: Could be some new transfer students I don’t know about. You never know.

Boy A: You’re starting to sound suspiciously familiar.


The owners of the voices rounded the corner behind us.


Boy B: Huh? Why? Look, there’s some right now.

Boy A: Wha—


Two boys had rounded the corner. One of them, taller than the other and rather sleazy-looking, was grinning widely, looking us up and down. The other, who looks a little like Asahina-senpai, was gazing, wide-mouthed, at… Itsuko.


Boy B: Watch this.


He said in a whisper he thought I couldn’t hear.


Boy B: Hey there! Fancy meeting you here. Must be, uh, fate, huh?


Itsuko and I look at each other. Who would have expected this, all of a sudden?


Itsuko: …I will deal with this.

Kyonko: …You sure?


Itsuko addressed the sleazy one.


Itsuko: What is it you, ah, require, exactly?

Boy B: We just wanna talk. Uh, um, tot too often you see two people just hanging out in a hallway with nothing to do, ya know?


What kind of school do you go to!?


Itsuko: How unfortunate. My friend and me were just about to—

Boy B: Aw, come on, don’t be like that. Tell us your names. I’m Taniguchi!


The other boy had apparently gotten over his shock, and was right behind the sleazy boy. He looks… rather excited.


Boy A: I’m Kunikida!


…Odd. They have the same names as…


Itsuko: Ah, no, we’re really very—

Taniguchi: You’re new here, right? Where are you from, anyway?

Kunikida: At least let us show you around the school!

Itsuko: Ah, er, no, I…

Taniguchi: Right? Come along with us, we can show you and your friend, uh, the library and stuff.


Itsuko is getting overwhelmed by their enthusiasm. It wouldn’t be a good thing if she agreed to go with them just to shut them up.

Knowing I was probably going to regret this, I stepped in front of Itsuko as though to protect her.


Kyonko: Since you’re so curious… Her name is Yamada. I’m Komada. We’re from Canada.

Taniguchi: …Excuse us.


The two of them turned away and started whispering loudly.


Kunikida: She’s obviously lying. …Maybe we should just ignore her and go for the other one?

Taniguchi: No man, they’re both A-rank, at least. We can’t let this chance slip away from us.

Kunikida: So, then…

Taniguchi: Let’s rethink the attack plan.


They turn back to me, who is currently grinding the palm of my hand into my forehead.


Taniguchi: So, uh, if you’re from Canada, that means you don’t know much Japanese, right? Why don’t we teach you.


The boy called Kunikida nods in support.


Kyonko: Actually, we only speak Swedish. Sorry. I can’t understand you.


I said in Japanese.


Kunikida: Tough nut to crack, huh?

Taniguchi: Don’t worry. I’ll think of something.


I can hear you two perfectly!


Taniguchi: So what do you think about—


Ah, geez! This is stupid! I can believe you two haven’t given up yet! How discourteous can you be?

I’ll just have to…

Next, your friend there. Although he’s kind of cute, he’s been drooling over Yamada here since he first saw her. Definitely no go. So, bye.

Kunikida: Wait, no, we’re not finished—

Kyonko: Come on.


I said to Yama—er, Itsuko.


Kyonko: We’ll be late for the meeting.


We left them there, dumbstruck, staring at our backs. That felt surprisingly good.

Kyonko: More importantly, you’re that bad at dealing with pushy guys? I figured you’d be a natural at it.

Itsuko: I am more surprised you did so well, considering how you usually perform around Suzumiya-san.

Immediately, I turn around, intending to go the other way, but…


Kunikida: Y-yeah! All we wanna do is talk, so…


…Is this the Dimension of Perverts or something!?

I immediately made a decision, and, still pulling Itsuko, charged the one called Kunikida.


Kunikida: Whoa!

He sidestepped, and fell flat on his ass.


While running in the opposite direction, I heard:


Taniguchi: Dumbass! Get up and chase after them!

Kunikida: Are you nuts? I’m not getting caught chasing after girls in a school hallway! We’ll get arrested!


I stop running, in order to catch my breath.


Itsuko: …I think you could have handled that a little better.

Kyonko: Shut up. It’s not like you did any

Kyonko: No, it’s fine. Wasn’t any trouble at all to get rid of a few pests. More importantly, I’m surprised you’re that bad at dealing with guys like that. I thought you’d

Haruhi ran out of the room yelling something about lateness and heads being chopped off, so I figured I could just take my time.

Except not at all, unfortunately.

On my way out of the classroom, I saw Kunkida slumped over his desk, in the same position I was in this morning.

Haruhi reaches up and feels her face, which for some reason has turned beet red.

Haruhi grabs a textbook that had been sitting next to her, and raises it as though to throw it at me.


Haruhi: OUT!


I dodge the flying math book and quickly run out into the hallway, leaving the fuming brigade chief behind.

Dealing with Haruhi is always dangerous…

So why am I smiling!?

…Dammit. I’m just going to go home and forget about this.
