Perhaps the shitty Hong Kong DVDs added to the confusion?

I've only seen the fansubs (up to ep.13 of season 2) so I can't say the ending is good or not, but HK DVDs usually have awful subtitles.

What happened in the ending anyway? *USE SPOILER TAGS PLEASE!*

Grappler Baki II

Season 2 is awesome, along with season one.. the HAWKS subs are awesome, so much better then the DVD!

although there is nothing more then episode 16 for season 2 on this site, or the hawks site.. (missing 17-24)

I am wondering if anyone has any of these episodes subbed to english!

if not, WE NEED TO GET THIS GOING, these are the best episodes!

The rest of season 2 has not been fansubbed by anyone, I've seen Hong Kong DVDrips floating around, but the subtitles on those always suck bad. It's obvious the guy adding the subtitles doesn't really speak English.

I really hope to see the rest of Grappler Baki fansubbed.

While technically it might be a cartoon, most people would prefer if you called it 'anime'.

yea, those DVD sub titles are terribly horrible!

it's like "my tree was under attack so I needed to find the roots" lol or something weird like that..

the dood probably used bablefish on altavista or something

regardless, the 'anime' is an awesome time! I recommend it to all

here is the complete collection of GRAPPLER BAKI manga, now if somebody can buy it...

ハイスクール!奇面組

http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p7609132

the auction is going for around 100 bucks for 70 volumes of Grappler baki (1-49 are the anime seasons 1 & 2, then starts as BAKI that is going through 1-23 (and still going on) and 3 specials, plus BAKI SAGA and another side stories.

if you ask me, they are waiting to finish the complete manga to throw another anime, not to mention that Itagaki keisuke doesnt want to kill the cash cow, in japan right now if you finish your masterpiece series you are forgotten 4-ever, look at akira toriyama, look at nobuhiro watsuki, look at rumiko takahashi (oh wait, not her...)

I assume you read the post above you, right?

if not, let me break it down for you

the anime (both seasons) are based on the first 49 volumes and there is 70 volumes so do the math on the episodes that have not been animated

when was the manga created? because the second season of the anime seems to have been influenced a lot by the mixed martial arts scene in japan (which started around '97)
