Om nom nom. I note that the Ep 5 reveal of the tags suggest that Mugi and Mio had theirs mixed ep, but in Ep 16 when Azunyan sneaks in on a sleeping Mugi the 'o' tag dangled from Mugi's bag (the ep with the stickers) and in Ep 17 when the girls entered the studio the 'o' purple tag is kind of visible from Mugi's bag, so I'm inclined to believe that was an animation error in the first episode when the tags were revealed.

Cool little thing i fond! Since Yui's Parents Work for a trading Company here is a fun fact!
Toyosato also is the birthplace of Itoh Chube'e, the founder of ITOCHU Corporation, one of Japan's largest trading companies. His house is open to the public.
Omi shonin merchant and founder of Itochu Corporation (C. Itoh) and Marubeni, two of Japan's largest trading companies, in 1858. At age 15, he started out peddling his linen goods on foot from Shiga, traveling west to Wakayama and Osaka. He soon set up shop in Osaka. He even had a shop in San Francisco, California. His second son Seiichi, also born in Toyosato, set up the C. Itoh company in 1918 and started importing textiles from England where he had studied abroad.

William Merrell Vories (they guy who built the school) (October 28, 1880 - May 7, 1964) or Hitotsuyanagi Mereru (一柳米来留,ひとつやなぎ めれる) was an educator, architect, missionary and entrepreneur born in the United States who worked mainly in Shiga prefecture in Japan.

Vories was born in Leavenworth, Kansas in 1880, graduated from Colorado College in 1904. At first he hoped to be an architect, though he came to Japan in 1905 as an English language teacher with an intention to engage in Christian missionary work among the Japanese. While working as a teacher in Omi Hachiman, Shiga prefecture, he was asked to inspect the construction of Kyoto YMCA office building in 1908, and thus started an architectural design firm (later called "W.M.Vories & Company Architects Ichiryusha").[1] Through YMCA activities in Japan he became acquainted with many American and Japanese people and received numerous commissions to design houses, churches, schools, hospitals, and YMCA facilities. In 1917, Vories married the daughter of viscount Suenori Hitotsuyanagi, Makiko Hitotsuyanagi (一柳満喜子 Hitotsuyanagi Makiko?, 1884-1969), and became a naturalized Japanese citizen in 1941, taking his wife's family name of Hitotsuyanagi.[2] In 1918, he founded the Omi Mission, and devoted his efforts to Christian missionary work and education. However, he was also an entrepreneur, and established Omi Sales Company in 1920, to promote an ointment named Mentholatum to earn funds to support his missionary work. The company was renamed Omi Brothers (近江兄弟社 Ōmi Kyōdaisha?) in 1934. Vories also loved music, making carols and is credited with introducing the Hammond Organ into Japan.[citation needed] He was posthumously awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, 3rd class by the Japanese government. His house in Omi Hachiman is now the "Vories Commemorative Museum".

Great collection there... one of things I enjoy about anime is the use of real locations, dialects, and references. It not only reduces their design time but it adds an air of reality to a series.

There is always a chance they'll surprise us. Though to be fair, KyoAni will be out of source material for a third season for a while even if the manga continues in some form.

Though this does give them time to work on other projects people are waiting on...Full Metal Panic for one, more Haruhi for another. Not sure about Lucky Star. Also there is a set group that wants more Key productions out of KyoAni.

For now we wait until September to see what happens with K-On and then until December and 2011 to see just what KyoAni does with their next manga based comedy series.

As you probably know, K-ON school Sakurakou has a real-life model, a former school in Toyosato town, near Kyoto. Unlike in Haruhi school's case, K-ON's real life model is open for visitors and the musicroom is decorated with countless K-ON merchandise, as well as various things that appeared in the anime, including Giita, Erizabesu, and Muttan.

Regarding this case, somebody tried recreating the part from episode 11 of the second season where the girls are boiling hot and trying to find something to cool themselves with, they fish out an old electric fan in the storage room. This person brought an old electric fan and left it in the club room. So far there's no problem. However, apparently, after some time this electric fan started to smoke and caught on fire when somebody turned it on. Thankfully, the fire doesn't seem to have inflicted any damage. But should it catch fire when nobody was present, it might have caused serious harm.

Is Miura Akane really gonna be a new character? I've seen pictures that look legit, and some that don't. I've even listened to her 'character song' (Side note, I liked it >w>) I've seen plenty of people saying 'We know she's a hoax' but I just wanna be sure... ^^''
