To piss off Gaelio? Unlikely. I think McGillis' aims are to make Gaelio, Carta, and Ein into martyrs to aid in his reformation of Gjallarhorn.

I meant it as McGillis' way to make sure Gaelio fights till the very end against all things Tekkadan without questioning or doubting anything, like Ein becoming a literal death machine. Sounds like it could make the road to martyrdom easier.

Carta dying could be the final push GaliGali needs to turn to the AV-system, being bested by Mika/Tekkadan again and again, and Robo-Ein's (probably vastly improved) performance being other factors.

What if Mcgillis's goal isn't improving Gjallarhorn, but humankind? Maybe he feels that by placing a stigma on cybernetic enhancement, humankind has become stunted in its growth. By pushing certain important people to have themselves enhanced, and setting them up to be heroes, the image people have of enhancements will change, and humankind will advance.

Apart from that, I can't understand how playing the different sides as he has, furthers his plans for Gjallarhorn...

So, I haven't posted in a while but I have to say.......eh? Whats with all this talk of Tekkadan suddenly looking evil? They are still no where near as kill happy as Gundam Wing or Gundam 00 pilots. Frankly, Mika should be going to Gjallarhorn command posts and exterminating their commanders.

A part of me wished to see Carta taken alive and dumped in the slums back on mars so she could suffer along with all the poor and destitute Martian children. Excuse me for smirking when she was terrified. *Grrrr*

*deep breath*

Wow, that was a load of my chest. I feel better now.

Now Choco-man is the real guy looking evil here. Man, Carta loved you. Thats really cold-blooded.

Carta died T_T, she is not a bad person, she just doesn't fit to be in military.

What're you talking about? Carta was a terrible, dangerous person. Definitely not fit for the military though.
