What do you want in the gif.. the "crashing?" ( wich is only a first person view of an open gekko hangar closing in) or the scene after that when he is looking at his injured hand or what..
or do you mean an entirely different episode, like say episode 20 where Holland DOES get a priest and gets hurt and bleeds..

I'd like to try and make the gif for you, but you have to be more specific, with timeframes and such

Hmmm...few people ever read the first post. Hmmm...that must be why I don't delete these requests any more. I think I may put these thread rules to a community vote. Especially this one:

We're not mind readers. We do not know what you want, so give us something specific to work with. Be detailed about the description and make sure you keep the timeframe something like 2-3 seconds long.

Example:
I want a GIF from Episode 2112 of Mai-Otome where Nina makes out with her father. Timeframe of: 10:32-10:34.[/LIST]

There seems to be a desire for any GIFs from any particular series without specifying timeframes, episode numbers and so on. It's either time to get rid of that rule or make it voluntary and not compulsory.

Hmmm...what to do...

I mostly ignore these "anything will do" requests..

I personally find them lacking any initiative from the requester and there's a high chance you put your time and effort in a scene that you think makes a nice gif, but is completely not to the taste of the "anything will do"requester, and so you end up with wasting time you could have spent on making something for a "specific" requester..

In this case I was rewatching eureka 7 anyway so it wasn't that of a hassle to make some gifs, but normally I just ignore those requests.

I personally think it's better to have these specific rules, so you don't end up wasting time on "anything will do" stuff that "will not do

If it were me, I'd have started to delete that kind of request again. They're just annoying, I think people puts the "anything from any timeframe" formula because there's a little of bother (read: laziness) in the process of go checking exactly which , where , when and why a particularly liked scene happened.
But, and here's my position, if it's a bother to them, just requesting, how about the gifmaker, who already has the duty of making the gifs? Shall be added to it the duty to go searching through the episodes?
Often then, the series is not being watched (talking for myself), so say .. if they ask me a gif of Tohsaka Rin, and I have never watched F/SN, what am I supposed to do? Go to wikipedia, see who's Rin, randomly surf the episodes, find a scene which I deem cute and *then* do the work? That's too long for a free service.
That's why, without the detailed indications, I skip.

To quote the above poster, I personally ignore those request, there was once in which I kindly used to warn the requesters on the matter, but since it seems that time passes and old bad habits simply stay as they are, I've just chosen to pass by.

In order to comply with the rules i went back through a little of Eureka seven and selected a two second spot that i would like as a .gif if still possible.

I’ve been pretty relaxed on that rule, but really, it's just not fair to the people making GIFs if you don't give timeframes, episode numbers, scene descriptions, etc...If you're collecting GIFs for a particular series and you don’t have an episode or scene in mind, try searching Yahoo! or Google, but please don't post asking in this thread. Remember: both Yahoo and Google (and other search engines) archive forum pages such as this. You might find what you're looking for there.
