Hmm ... Tamayura went OVA, season 1, season 2. I wonder if this one kmight do the same if the OVA's are "successful"?

Hell yeah, Round Table!
Anyway, I love the character designs. So adorable, but without being overbearing or annoying (imo). Backgrounds/landscape artwork looks beautiful. I hope someone can translate what's being said in the trailer!

And for the Bike otakus in the audience I'm sure those Hondas on the background were pretty exciting as well

So from what I understand there's four 15 minutes episodes and two of them were shown and are now subbed!
Pretty much got what I expected:cute girls, scenery porn, honda porn, great ost and great OP and ED by round table It was nice having a more cynical lead to cute girls do cute things show, especially since that side of her contrasted with her tendency to daydream,I liked those dreams btw, they were nicely off the wall. However apart from the lead and our australian biker nobody really stood out,but there's only so much you can do in 30 minutes, hope we'll see more of them in the next episode. Hopefully it'll sell (or otakus start buying hondas lol) and we end up with a full TV show that TYO will make once they're done with Tamayura S2. I'd love it to be about Haru traveling around the world but doubt it'll happen

Haruno as the anti-thesis to many iyashikei slice-of-life lead characters was quite interesting, meaning it's up to the awesome Cynthia - who's a complete and total riot - to smack the slice-of-life lessons into her. The message for these episodes was completely appropriate to the theme of motorcycles, which was quite well done.
Waiting for the next volume to see how it wraps up, and hoping it's good enough to warrant a TV series on its own. Also, Round Table ft. Nino for OP AND ED just completed my day

I'm glad this got subbed. I wasn't sure it would.
Even though I knew Cynthia was voiced by Yuu, I still didn't think she would be that crazy lol. Definitely the best character in the show. Her speech about the various people supporting her was very nice and typical iyashikei anime material. Haruno was unexpectedly pessimistic for slice-of-life main character. It's quite refreshing, in some way. Eagerly waiting for the next two episodes.

I really enjoyed that, from beginning to end.
I mean, Junichi Sato is pretty much the king of iyashikei in my book, and even despite the blatant product placement* this was an excellent little show. I'm totally looking forward to the next installment and if the characters were spun off into a series, I'd watch that for sure. Plus the title music by Round Table featuring Nino felt almost like coming home. It just fit perfectly. Highly enjoyable, but wow, was Cynthia glued into that bike suit or what? *I think Honda got a much better promotional deal out of sponsoring this than Subaru did out of that show they sponsored last year... It had their actual vehicles in it for a start! |

I need this soundtrack.
I usually don't pay much attention to BGM but the soundtrack for this OVA was so beautiful and soothing. I keep forgetting to check the credits; were these the same people who did the Aria soundtrack?

Round Table for OP/ED was, of course, lovely. It took me a rewatch to realize that Anri's song is actually the ending theme.

That was a nice watch. I really liked the atmospheric feel and scenery to everything.
And Cynthia is one of the more positive portrayals of a foreigner that I've seen in anime. That, as much as anything, is what stood out about this OVA for me.
