Umineko no Naku Koro ni - Episode 19 Discussion / Poll

[June 1983]

I wound up giving this a 7, mainly because I felt like the poor transitions really detracted from the quality of the storytelling. Some of the condensed conversations (in particular between Ange and Okonogi) were also pretty poorly written.

Still, at last we get to probably my single favorite quote in Umineko ... without love, the truth cannot be seen. I kind of would like to get that as a tattoo.

- How can someone not love Bern-cat-tail? She's cute whether she's in her gothic loli, cat, or super sadist mode ^^
- Btw, me in EP 1: "How the heck can Battler call Maria cute? He have yandere fetish or something"
Me after this episode: "Maria 's cute... so adorable...." ^///^ . But Maria gonna take the tittle of Beatrice? O_o (aww... don't turn her into a cruel witch.....)
- Saint Lucia school + Ange + Maria Oneechan.... they could play a joke on Marimite if it does not ruin the mood
- So it's TOKYO behind this after all. Those bureaucratic bastards

Just a small bit of info for those sorta confused with Okonogi, he's just a Higurashi reference and nothing more really. Umineko and Higurashi take place in completely different universes so this Okonogi is the lucky one who never got to have his ass handed to him by Akasaka,
