Tsundere is a combination of the words tsuntsun (つんつん) and deredere (でれでれ). Hence why people split the qualities into tsun and dere... because that's where the term got its meaning.

hm... perhaps you guys can give me a solid answer here

perhaps due to the anime, but I've noticed that this series seems to be getting quite a fanbase... and any manga in this section tat stays consistently at the top for days I start wondering if it's worth checking out. However, I know the original premise of the series, but with the way the posts are going... is this series about 50% harem, 50% yuri? Or is it becoming more harem than yuri? (by the way, in this case I define harem as a guy at the lead with a bunch of girl, not one girl with a bunch of girls...)

the reason I ask this is because I'm one of the few guys out there who actually doesn't like yuri, except in very, very small amounts... but I do love harems, so I don't know whether I should pick this series up or not. What would you guys say?

So far anime is pure fanservice with lost of yuri and some comedy. Anime is skipping lots of material, mostly those parts whose are, lets say, "darker".

In manga, as well as in spoilers about novels, there are lots of hints of drama, tragedy, something sinister is happening behind the scenes. Some even speculate that main protagonist will have to kill his love interest at the end of the series.

As Adr 00 posted already, only one of 4 main heroines is homosexual, and according to novel spoilers, even her isn't allways homosexual On the other hand lots of secondary characters is yurific, or rather their admiration to their idols is almost sexual in nature.

I have no clue where all the complaints are coming from. Particularly about the Yuri bit. All girls are after Natsuru, this is pretty much the essence of the show. It's not like the anime was pushing a Yuri vibe which didn't exist exactly the same way in the novels or mangas.

What is correct is that the anime cut out most of the fighting parts - so far. But I don't see a significant change in the overall mood.

yes, since till this time (in anime) the fight that involve Kampfer always in girl side/ if not unisex building (library) like (classroom where Shizuku held Sakura,corridor where Shizuku defeated, SC Office where Natsuru Seduced as well as in the manga (Library, classroom,girl side back yard where Kuzuhara attack).No boys at all in that times, even in the Library as unisex building

i am sory to disappoint you but i'm not a japanese so i just speedreading and i don't know all of the kanji means (so it could be said speedreading + using dictionary + guessing). And since i am a senior college student i am afraid i don't have much spare time. If i'm not wrong the anime will follow through the novel plot so just stick with it.

It seems that Madam Pres was long aware of Sakura's lust towards girls (male) Natsuru's chances with Sakura are as this manga goes on soon nothing but a lost hope. All these sweet moments he had with her will remain soon a sweet memory to him lol.
