I mean, this feels like the kind of series where no true romance is going to happen until its conclusion. The author might surprise me, like a certain other gyaru/gal manga author did, but I'm doubting it. Now if we're just talking "any sort of romantic talk/feelings", then that's different and I'd disagree with whoever you heard it from.

I'm just hyped for this season since it should contain my favorite arc from the manga.

I stopped reading the manga after the arc where they cosplayed with sisters. Planned to continue it but will rather watch the new anime now. So I cannot say anything here.

I would have been shocked if it never did get one. Good news to be sure though. I look forward to more of the main pair, cosplay with the whole cast, and just good moments overall. Hopefully they don't waste much time ship teasing Gojo with anyone besides Marin since I don't think that's really needed.
