Perfect once again from me, it being F/SN and all.
Some good Rider moments, even though there wasen't hat many - but judging from the preview there's battle Rider nexted week, yay. And also, can't complain about seeing Saber eat! <3

I look forward to every bite, and I bet you and I aren't the only ones who look forward to Saber dining. I suspect what we saw in Episode 5 was a teaser, much like the Rider scenes. |

Okay, some highlights:
Spoiler:
It's a good downtime episode. Shiro's sense of manhood won't allow him to be selfish. I'm interested what Sakura, Fuji-nee and saber talked about durning the night that made her change her mind about letting Sabers tay. |

the more i look at saber and shirou, the more i see something deeper going on other than that master and servant thing. but that's to be expected ne? oh! and the part where rin jumps on the stairs, that was funny

Rin gets a +10 in this episode for me. Not because more of her 'tsundere' personality coming out, but because she's finally starting to get her sense back (and for Archer doing that, he gets +10 as well). She might have helped Shirou before, but she's starting to get serious with the war.
Still, I find she's not serious enough yet. Considering her experience with magic, I don't think she would've missed Shirou after so many tries if she really wanted to hit him. Not to mention that if she really wanted to kill Emiya, why not get Archer to go in a nearby rooftop and snipe Shirou from afar? She KNOWS he's in school after all. Methinks she's missing on purpose, and probably for the same reason why she saved/helped him in the first place. I know it's going to come in full force in the future, but I'm glad to see that Rin's internal dilemma is rearing its ugly head even now so that it's properly foreshadowed. Quote:
She might have helped Shirou out of compassion last time, but it seems there's something good that came out of that after all for Rin. Now only time will tel if Rin can get over her internal dilemma and actually 'use' Shirou like any person who truly wants to win the grail war would do. Quote:

Episode 5 had a little more emphasis on humor indeed. And we do see that another Servant has finally appeared as well...Rider.
Indeed, though, she could have finished off Shirou easily...Why the thing with the Scandinavian 'curse spell'? What is she trying to pull? A mage with her ability should easily take out Shirou...But that remains to be seen what would happen in the next episode. |
