"Senjou no Kizuna" is one of those games that, IMHO, looks better in real life than on video. It's a FPS shooter played with mobile suits. The projector uses a lens to simulate a panoramic cockpit, and the details are good enough that I once saw a Zeon Sniper I getting into position at the other side of the field for a shot at me and managed to dash away in time. Sound quality is usually good with heavy bass used to pretend that you're actually crashing to the ground after a boost/dash. The ability to play in a team where your mates can be anywhere in Japan is a major plus for shelf-life. Not a very easy game to play well, though, despite the few controls you have.

That "Emblem of Gundam" game, if it lets you play through wi-fi for multi-player(?), looks good. I would pick it up for that, esp. if it goes global.

How do the controls work in Senjou no Kizuna? And do they have space stages?

No, there is no space stages - all are land stages: Side Seven (training), Himalayas, Jaburo (Underground), Takuramakan Desert, New Yaak ('cause "New York" is trademarked? ), and a new field called "Torrington". The game is basically a FPS, pseudo MMO - in which your party is limited in number. The plus sides of the game, IMHO, are (1) it does a better job at putting you into the game with the POD and graphics and (2) it standardizes the controls, requirements and bandwidth for players. I have never had a game dropped or lagged - no matter if it's just 1 human player (me) or 16 different players scattered across Japan. The bad part is that it's really expensive.

The main controls are (1) two control levers with, on each, a trigger for a weapon (shooting or melee) and a target lock button and (2) two foot pedals - one for dashing and the other for boosting up. Very easy to pick up, but not too easy to play well without practice.

Gundam Battle Universe details
Game Star writes in addition to the over 200 missions, the game will have more than 200 playable MS as well. Existing missions will have substantial updates. You can individualize your pilots and MS with the Customize, Skill System, and Instruction System and use save data from the previous Gundam Battle Chronicle. Collaborative play through the campaigns is enabled as well as up to 4 players in Versus mode.

Yeah, its a shame Bandai doesnt try and squeeze out some money PC fans who wants a mech sim. Apparently in the ClassicBattletech Boards, if Gundam was to become a popular PC Game to them, they must do the following: Take off the sissy auto aiming and add foot pedals and pitch control. I mean, a lot of people will kill for an actual mech sim with the Gundam name on it.

Listed in the "Other" section of the ASB Beam Saber's promo schedule, a pamphlet for the product will be included with a thus-far-unannounced PS2 Gundam 00 game coming out in October.
Quoted from Gunota.

Better hope that we're not getting a dating sim game like Code Geass: Lost Colors.

That would be nice, but quite unlikely, considering how the versus games were released as arcade consoles before being ported to the PS2 or PSP.

I'm hoping for a One Year War/ Ichinen Sensou kind of game.

Hope it will be an action game like EA VS ZAFT, but do the series have enough MS to go with it?

It's probably going to be a garbage game like Seed Never Ending Tomorrow. Just some game that they rush out to cash in on the Gundam 00 hype. Espeically since its on PS2.

Meh, but what we need is a real Gundam Mech Sim, aka the ability to fine tune your mobile to a T like classic battletech. You know for the real UC military nutes. But shame that will never happen for the PC. The mech era is generally dead for PCs. We had a little fun with Steel Battalion but that was it.

I kind of feel that jonli's idea of a "Gundam 00" version of a quick SEED-like game would be right on the mark. The next Versus game on the PS# would [almost] have to be "Gundam vs Gundam", and as far as I know, a port has not even been announced anywhere yet.
