(L) Rosario+Vampire Manga

I do believe that Issa is her father, I think Issa just mates with all the strongest vampires from around the world without the connotation of marriage. Wanting powerful off-spring is probably all he wanted to fulfill his ambitions. What kinda begs to question, why haven't he had any sons? I kinda feel bad for him, not being able to have a boy daughters are nice and all, but as a man I would like to have at least one son to bond with

'-san' is also just a term of respect. It would seem weirder than hell if the most powerful vampire couple called each other 'Akasha-chan' and 'Issa-chan'. Akasha seems like a very formal and traditional kind of girl so her use of 'san' shouldn't be too much of a shock.

As for the big 'dragon' being Alucard himself...good grief but as for Akasha sending Moka away and trying to seal Moka's memory of it away...

Some media have said that if the first vampire met an end, then every vampire afterward would die also - ending the species. So imagine if someone wanted to terminate the bloodline of the vampires, they could kidnap Moka and mindraped her. They could find the location of the first Vampire and launch an all-out attack on the Shuzen Family and kill all the vampires in one fell swoop. So sending Moka away and with her memory sealed about that particular event would be a good way to cover up the location of Alucard. ... And if Akasha is indeed the keeper/blood decendant then disappearing along with Alucard would just be a precaution - one that might be nessacary to for the protection of the entire vampire race.

Or ... Akasha can be the key that is nessacary to 'activate' something related to Alucard. If Akasha isn't there, then the next best thing would be to get her blood daughter - Moka. ... or even theoretically, they could use Tsukune as well.

Man, as the manga go on, I just anxiously crave for a faithful anime adaption so badly... why oh why did the anime have to turn out the way it did?! :sob:

Um, I'm not sure if this is rhetorical or not

But, if you're serious... well they pretty much made the anime a giant ecchi omake, It took tidbits from the manga, but instead of making of following the plot, they made a standard Ecchi Comedy.

I thought cyberdemon's spoiler said that Alucard was the oldest vampire, not the first. Besides, all vampires in R+V are living beings and are conceived like humans - I don't think that killing the first/oldest vampire would have any effect on the rest.

Well, like I said, some media about vampires have that little stipulation of 'kill the first/oldest, you kill the rest'. Blade III had it, Dance in the Vampire Bund also has hints of following that particular 'myth' as well. I'm just pointing out that IF it is true for the R+V vampires, then keeping Alucard's location a secret would be a top priority, to the point of attempting to mindwipe even a treasured daughter and then send them away.

Also, if Moka-chan was having a reaction while she was down there, could it be that since she has such powerful blood and also has the 'legendary traits' of a vampire (white hair and red eyes), she could also be some kind of 'key'.

Being first doesn't necessarily make him the oldest. If the first was killed, leaving Alucard, that would make Alucard the oldest.

If that thing is the "oldest" vampire, why does he look like that, was this ... how vampires looked like in the past or do vampires loose their human forms, once they are old enough (which would be a real bummer in Tsukune's case )

It really interests me what made Alucard look like that, since at first when I saw it, I wouldn't have guessed that this: is a vampire as well.

Arucard did what Moka did to Tsukune. They gave their blood to another which in turn created the vampires we know today. Difference being Arucard was a pure demon with no human form as seen. Maybe the headmaster is really trying to recreate that process. Make vampires start anew.

I think it has to do with that lil 'no shape-shifting' rule that the vampires apparently follow. You shape shift too much and you too might turn into that: :
Which probably would sufficiently scare a vampire enough not to shape shift anymore. The high pride of being elegant and beautiful creatures of the night.

That's quite possible. But I'd imagine that Alucard does have a human form. Something tells me that later on in the series, Alucard is going to awaken as the final baddy for Moka and Tsukune, and when he awakens he'll take up a human form. The demonic form is most likely just his true form, since it makes more sense that he's in that form when in that sort of stasis

Anyway, anyone else notice that Issa's design looks alot like Dracula's from Castlevania? It's pretty obvious so far that Ikeda is a big fan of the game

Well that's a possibility cyberdemon, though I don't think that Alucard has given any injection of blood to Moka when she had seen it, though maybe even seeing it is enough to awaken some sort of abilities that normally lie dormant in vampires.

Of course we might see Moka going there one more time to see Alucard again, since we still haven't got the whole picture of the situation yet, since Moka still hasn't taken the Rosario from Akasha.

Hm ... I kind of get the feeling that when Moka returns to the mansion, she won't find Akasha being there anymore ... only Akuha will be left there ... severely injured, since I doubt she is strong enough to be able to take out one of the three Dark Lords in a one to one duel, since if Akuha was able to defeat a dark lady (Akasha), it would really sever the chances of Tsukune and the rest of the gang surviving their encounter with Akuha in the Wong family mansion.

that's not what i meant.

i meant like hundreds or thousands of years ago, Arucard as a pure demon gave blood to another race. Once they learned to control it they became the first vampires.

Well we already know that the first vampires were a warlike species who fed on blood and violence (ala berserk Tsukune). Since those were already identified as vampires... it might be something else. Also, Alucard is already labeled as the original vampire...

The vampires might not know anything about Alucard other than that it was through him that they received their abilites. As such they just label him as a vampire when he is a much higher species.
