i think it was machi overkill in that ep...and yeah the animation quality went downhill too.

First, this is Japan we're talking about. Different culture. Two, the word date over there doesn't necessarily have to mean romantically, at least to my knowledge. And three, there's a line between full-blown incest and just a high amount of sibling love. Misaki, by all appearances, just has a fair amount of brother-con in her. Whether it's Nemu levels or not we don't know, but Ikuto certainly does not have the same kind of outlook towards her.

Incest is a pretty strong word to throw around, and you need good reason to support it.

I really enjoyed that last episode, and even though I did lose some interest in it around episodes 4-9, it's getting funnier and...just good. True that there's not really a lot of plot in this episode besides minor character development, it's still enjoyable for some reason.

I remember the 'older loli character' appeared note that popped up and I had to go back a few seconds to read what it said, then after thinking about it for a moment I had a small laughing fit. Just like her daughter... I've found that Lucky Star actually helps with the way things work in Nagasarete. Some of the mothers and other characters seem so young... It helps to flashback to the picture of Kona's dad and her mom. ^_^ At that point, all second thoughts go by and are replaced by third thoughts often consisting of the words, "what has the world come to...?"

I vaguely recall someone saying something about a title for a second ED, and since this is the half-point of the series, we could potentially get a new OP and ED either in ep 13 or 14. Maybe. If we do get a new OP, we'll know for sure whether they're planning on using any of the unintroduced characters, so keep an eye out for unknown faces.
