Agreed with most of the sentiment in this thread. I was really getting into Avatar but the lack of any new episodes is really killing my interest. Every time I turn on Nick to catch a new episode i'm thrown repeats. I'm not even sure whats currently happening as I havent caught any new episodes.
Well... at least there'll be a movie..

Have you seen the "Ember Island Players" (0317) trailer yet? It's pretty freaking hilarious.

Well, I think there will be no 4th season because
Spoiler for Why:
It will be a shame because this series does whole alot better then alot of Anime series out there. Off-Topic: I heard a rumor that they guy who just left Avatar is working on a new series at Disney(his new work place)? Because I wish that he can make something out of Kingdom Hearts because that would be sweet.

Kingdom Hearts should stay as a game, it'll be a lot of pain to license all the Final Fantasy characters (and the series wouldn't be as magical without them). I also don't think Sora, Riku and Kairi would fit the western-anime style (although they're pretty westernized).
Anyway I love Avatar, and that trailer is giving me a really strong Zutara vibe! I was always a big fan of that pairing, but recent episodes seem to hint otherwise |

I think it would be a good idea to refrain from even suggesting Sozin's Comet spoilers here, even with tags. The Avatar finale is a bizarre situation what with the book coming out months early, and I think most of us would prefer not to take any chances on being spoiled.

"remaining episodes of Avatar will be broadcast in the United States one each night starting July 14th, and ending with a two hour finale special on Saturday, July 19th" doing it all in one shot ... |

The Boiling Rock episodes were great, and although I never actually lost interest in seeing the rest of Avatar, it did help boost my interest back to old levels. I agree the time gaps in this third season are horrible, but there's no way I would stop watching a great series because of that.
Can't wait to see that parody play episode, it looks hilarious, but ofcourse I'm looking forward to the big finale even more. |
