I'd agree with that, and to expand on it abit. Both Shirley and Kallen to some respect represented a different kind of love. which in turn is manifested in the feelings and actions they showed towards Lelouch.

Well, of course it's never made obvious that he had sex with anyone, and he probably didn't. But if you think about it, he could have had some offscreen action with anyone. Maybe after Shirley and Lelouch's embrace in Turn 12 they went to a hotel and had hot smexy action...okay, maybe not

It's also likely that he was alone during those two months, going by Complete R2. He likely spent his last two months alone.

Which info? That he was a virgin? They had an entire section listing reasons why he was one.
If you read Complete R2, you can get an idea that he was alone for the last two months because in C.C. section is says that she got her smile from him making his promise, not keeping it. Her smile was because he showed her that people could make promises with her, not just contracts. Leads me to believe they never met again, much like with Kallen, Nunally, and Suzaku.
If you add in that several parts talk about him being incredibly busy during those last two months, its not hard to believe that he was alone.
