Just watched it. The only thing that bothered me was the proportion of the characters. Even though I read the novels already, I still liked it very much. You really begin to appreciate how well the novels are written. Everything just fit together so perfectly. Hope the author doesn't screw up novel #10.

I will definitely be buying this DVD or blue-ray if possible. 720x480 does not do this series justice.

Meaning, that they've already been showing the show for the last eight weeks. Eight episodes. Chronological order means they are putting all the an order based on when they would happen doing the school year rather than how they originally aired back in 2006, which was in a very different order.

Oh I think I get it after seeing episode the newest one. It seems like it's going to be like Hidamari Sketch x365, where the second season's episodes were scattered around the time frame of the first season.

I liked the original broadcast order better then chronological. I wonder if they'll do some swapping this time around?

Given its actual placement chronologically, I wonder how they're going to work the prologue for Sigh.

Probably keep it in the same place and present it as a flashback.

I'm definitely going to check that book out...

Does anyone else feel that Yuki has a different air around her? I swear she seems more... emotional?

Isn't that more or less the point, those small changes in Yuki's character from first 'til now?

Yes, but I like it that you can actually see those changes on her face, rather than her speech and actions.

That's some amazing pausemanship factsmanship! Am embarrassed to admit that I'm not versed in classic sci-fi novels and can only surmise at the literal title. Can't discern the author from my video source, so other than the cover semblance I can't see how one can figure this one out. Though this has to be the book, on a few levels. (just did some Wiki)

1) It's something Yuki would read.
2) It contains a time travel love story
3) English title implies Yuki developing feelings towards Kyon during suspension/endless8/other-adventures.
4) Literal Japanese title implies Yuki's got a way to go to get through Kyon's thick goggles.

Anyone in Japan other than the producers of this anime who was able to get this reference real time (about 1.3 seconds) is sick well versed indeed. And as for the person who inserted that reference to begin with, he is one sick motha surely well versed as well.

Interesting. Might every new episode carries a different ED?

I won't be surprised if it does.
