I am SO happy that DRRR!! is pimping Baccano! I mean, seriously, I am hard core in love with Baccano!, and it is such an under appreciated series. The Baccano! catches in the posters and everywhere are great; I noticed them and was just so, so happy. Baccano!... right there was one SOLID series. And I'm surprised that more people are becomming DRRR! fans because imho Baccano! was the better story, but I suppose that's opinion. In any case, I love them both (though, admittedly, I love Baccano! moar, but, hey, it' my favourite anime-only series for a reason) and it's good to see more popularity potential.

So I finally watched episode 3 after dling gg with dreads. To my utter surprise this editor is good! Knows what he or she is doing. Most importantly the editing restrained from utilizing "fag" or "retard" or something equally colorful. The episode itself was very enjoyable to say the least. The full understanding just enhaced the enjoyment thanks to good subbing complimented by very good encoding. Encouraged, I dl'ed another series (Baka to Test episode 3) by gg.
And THERE IT IS! There.. there are the "retard" and the "fags"! Universe restored its balance once more. Looking forward to episode 4!

Completely with both of you on this one. Can't wait for the single to arrive next month, but it's already racked up 80+ plays on my iTunes alone...
@guiltyxx - really? That's interesting...

It's hard to explain in English...but I'll try
"臨也" can't be pronounced as "Izaya". but they somehow linked a meaning of "臨む(to look out on, to face, to deal with)"with Isaiah.(I'm not christian so I don't know much about him ) That's all I got from novel...^^'' |

Isiah was supposed to be a bit of a headstrong prophet so I guess that makes sense. Isiah was more about the whole "Christians against the big bad governments" thing though.
Don't tell me Izaya is actually doing all this for some greater good and I suppose he's a "GOOD GUY AFTER ALL". ugh. |

Raises the question of whether that was the name given to him, or whether it was something Izaya chose for himself when he decided to become an information dealer...
