Well not bad the episode, I find it really sad for Hotaru to wait there and...realize her master was gonna die..... And Utakata gets taken out so easily is just...

Meh, back to canon.

I was hoping for a little more in this filler. Definitely could have had an awesome on-screen fight between Utakata and Pein. Course anything more would have meant longer before getting off filler, so I can't complain!

I actually felt bad for Utakata. Just when I was beginning to like him.

I wish they would show the 6 tails more. The whole arc was ehhh.

Yeah pretty sad ending tbh and they sure could have done something more with the six tails.. I mean it felt so cheap and almost tacked on to give the crappy story some meaning but hey... i'm pretty sure every Naruto fan out there can take 8 or so crappy fillers when they know what's around the corner..

I was hoping that this filler wasn't going to take long like the last one. You know I'm so ready to see the next arc.

I don't know about you all, but I actually enjoyed this paticular filler. Unlike the last one which I skipped most of...which was very long, this one was short and good. I almost forgot Ukataka wasn't going to make it through the storyline...and it sucked that they put him in a filler episode...but meh...it was still good. I felt bad for Hotaru and Ukataka at the end, it actually shook me a little.

I wouldn't mind more fillers if it introduce the other jinchuuriki as well...it'll give some insight about them...something we're not going to get in the main storyline considering who's left

Now that was a short filler but... Ukataka taken out so easily? Pain is aweasome, no doubt there but I think that Ukataka could really give a better fight... Jiraya was smacked around by 4 tailed Kyubi yet he still put great fight against Pain.
Ukataka really could have done more...

Though we saw one of the Paths shoot the missles...I think what finished Ukataka off was the ST the head Pein uses...judging by the giant crater Ukataka was in and all

The animation was pretty well done for this ep. I was also surprised that they didn't show a fight between Pein and Utakata. I enjoyed this arc, I'm not sure what was up with all the complaining. It is loads better than any filler Bleach has come up with.

Wtf? That was it? A potentially awesome plot involving the 6 tails, Pain, and some Forbidden Jutsu got turned into some crappy soap opera. 6 Tails transformed for like 1 second, Pain did 2 attacks, and the all powerful Forbidden Jutsu dug a 3 meter radius pit.

On the other hand, back to the plot.

Let me get this straight:

The 6-tails and 9-tails are together, weakened by the attack, Pain does not appear.
They separate, the 9-tails leaves, the 6-tails is on his own, Pain attacks?

Why? What's the matter? Pain could have captured two Jinchuuriki, instead he rather takes one? On top of that, they don't even show the fight. I am so disappointed. Why did they cut down the fighting scenes?

THat's what makes it filler material...

Pain didn't know Naruto was there. Maybe he wasn't even sure of Utakata's position, and that's why he only managed to find him in the end.

The one thing that could have saved this filler arc was a good fight between Pain and Utakata. And what happenend? It was basically an aftertought worth about 2 seconds screen time. Brilliant. Well, at least we got through it without suffering too much brain damage, it could have been worse, think of Bleach.
