Looks like we're getting two Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio movies.
 The first one will be based on the TV series, while the second one will be new material it seems.

Just because something isn't Japanese doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. This is actually wonderful source material, but there's enough uncertainty attached to every aspect of this that I'm skeptical it will ever see the light of day.
