Hey, I don't know where to put this so I'll just say it here:

I just watched that last ep of the Chimera arc of HxH in Animax (I never followed the manga so it's a fresh feeling), and somehow my thought was:
"So the King was Hadou, but ultimately achieved Gudou-hood together with Komugi".

I was very touched by the scene. Bey and now this, it seems I am a sucker for these type of characters.

So I have been thinking this for a while now, does it make Seiji as the new Holy Grail ? I mean, with his treatment and the state he gonna end up in the sequel it sure hard to not see it as.

No I mean, if you have played the trial for Bansenjin you sure would have known that the new Seiji is literally free from his past reincarnation (and capable of breathing fresh air normally now

). Then that ending happens...It's like when Hajun came, Holy Grail get absorbed back along with his past life memories

That is if you have read the trial, I will stop here just in case you haven't read it.

Well, the reason I picked him up is how both of them are being used as a part required for the vessel. The difference is that Holy Grail was being used for one in the past life, while Seiji will be used as one now.

Did you play the demo? I'd be extremely surprised if the third Rosei didn't turn out to be the last boss.

If you have read to the end, it's already strongly hinted that the 3rd Rosei is not as what the history book dictates. Nanten even outright includes him as 勇者 too.

And when I said he's pretty quiet, he even bothered to not show the name of the 4th most important person of the war in the trailer.

True, but you've got to admit that he's definitely got the look for it.

I guess this could turn out like KKK where we don't get a glimpse of the last boss at all, so that 4th person of interest could be it too. Only the PVs will tell.

By the time Shizuno described his dream, my impression is that he's just another character that worth mentioning. Not even the personality you don't get to see his whole face or appearance, only a silhouette and description of his dream. Masada also has a habit not detailing the main antagonist personality until you have gone through the main game for quite a bit, so no I never get the look/feel of main antagonist from him at all.

I'm curious about Senshinkan's lore. What makes a Rosei? What are the requirements to become one? These sort of people seem to be like DI's Hadou Gods albeit toned down power-wise.

Also, just how much of a profound effect does the Kantan have on the real world pre-Bansenjin?

The great kanto earthquake was a direct manifestation of Kuubou's powers. The final battles took place in the real world because one ability of a truly awakened Rosei is to bring their and their brethren's dreams to the real world.

However, afaik what makes a Rosei was never outright stated. The reason no other Rosei appeared during hachimyoujin is because the method of accessing kantan seems to be known only by Seijuurou. And the cast decided to seal the dream world and the method of accessing, because if at one time exists two Rosei at Japan alone, there's no telling how many more exists out there.
