On the other hand, Nobuaki not being able to make her reform (at least before she dies) would look bad on his part as the sub-protagonist. A lot of people already just see him as a joke character thanks to his role in Hachimyoujin, so he needs at least one grand accomplishment under his belt.

Well....it's not unknown for Masada to make joke characters remain joke characters to the end (Look at White Anna)

I've been trying to look for the term Taikyoku but I can't find it. What exactly does it mean? All I know is that Dies Irae seems to mix Kabbalah, Hinduism and some chinese system into one huge cosmic setting.

Taikyoku is just the term for Atziluth in the KKK era. I don't think there's any specific meaning to it other than Yin Yang, which the Chinese use the represent how the universe is maintained by two opposing forces.

Or if you haven't played either game, Taikyoku/Atziluth is the power to spread your utmost desire in the form of a absolute law or concept that covers the entire universe (or your own personal universe).

I had thought it might just end up as a red herring, but judging from the final trial of "beating Hiiragi Yoshiya" I guess Nobuaki really is the next Rosei after all. Aside from that, not much of a PV. Good BGM though.

In Dies, which one is the true ending? Rea's Route normal end, or the Three Colors Route? With which one does the Amantes Amentes side story go?

It's the Three Colors Route, I guess
and the side story :
1. something about Shirou heading towards the L.D.O
2. The story of the L.D.O members before they get together '3'
3. It's 10 years prior to the time in the game aka the time of Beatrice and Kai
4. It's basically Marie route epilouge
5. Rea Route Epilouge '3'

You know, I kind of forget how Rea's normal end goes. I can only recall Three Colors and the epilogue.

Three Colors route is just a fanservice, the Rea route is the original ending. That said, the final result is pretty much the same.

Amantes last sidestory works either way as far as I remember, it's simply 2 different perspectives from the same continuity.

I remember Ren perished alongside everyone else in that last battle in Mitsudomoe, but how did he pass on in the normal route? He didn't take part in the battle in the normal route didn't he?

He was only waiting until the final moment with Rea. The thing is Ren will perish either way if Snake dies, not that it matters though since Marie ascended to the Throne and everyone is reincarnating into the new cycle.

Not to say it's bad, but I think the OPs for both the PC and Vita versions of Hachimyoujin were better. Going to have to put it on a loop for another dozen or so plays to get used to it.
