But I'm not quite sure.

On mythology on a weird way. YES.

For example Pan-Dora. The box that carried a lot of despair and a shard of hope from Greek mythology. It brought a lot of nightmares for Claudia, but also a single hope in the form of Ayato.

Hell, translating the terms in Horizon, even with trying to pin down the names of the Logismoi Oplo, seems easier than this.

Raksha nada is correct, do not goole the whole words, Raksha and Nada both have their independent meaning and i do not know why the author combined it.

Wole sein make nothing come to mind though

Mm... raksha nada is probably related to hinduism. Nada could be the spanish word, but raksha certainly isn't and once in while I find hindu words phonetically similar to sanish.

From what I've found, "raksha" is Hindu for "protection" and the Nada is the Hinduism term for "cosmic sound".

The title carries the sense of "tense training or studying akin to a military drill".

Wicked Sword would sound better and nastier than Evil Sword. As for the ruby, maybe do it like Bershe Vern? It's ベルシェ＝ヴェルン and not ベルシエ=ヴエルン from what I see in the Japanese wiki.

KnightShade Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2014	so i finished v4 Spoiler for impressions: The introduction of the president for world dragon 7th institute was very effective of illustrating how much of a bamf that girl is. It had the feel of a classic martial arts prodigy film and hitting all the right beats for a Bruce lee fanatic. This 11 year old girl is a force to be reckoned with and she has her sights set on ayato… the first world dragon pair fight did great job of showing that ayato and julis aren’t all muscle, and can find ways to persevere outside of their comfort zone without feeling contrived. The combatants immediately did the smart thing went after ayato, who hasn’t recovered from the last fight with Irene, instead of “evening the fight” through character induced stupidity reason like muh honor. But julis got her moment in this fight with her wits. Even after the fight, the world dragon pair managed to honorable without feeling cheesy, simply because they hate two of their own comrades more… I was glad to see Irene and Pricilla again. It’s always funny seeing how protective those two are of each other. Ayato asking for a meeting with dirk means that we finally might be getting more development between him and haruka. The introduction of flora was silly and light hearted. I like how not only did she bring up julis’s brother and his inquiries regarding ayato and julis, but flora setup the first “kiss” of the story lol. The meeting with dirk revealed some big developments regarding hat haruka was up to, but also shows that dirk himself knows that the chairman is up to something big. But what really got me excited was when he inquired about flora via corona… Ayato finally starts to waver this volume and it was much needed to allow him to develop. Julis being the one to push him to find haruka was great in that we’re seeing a gender role reversal. Normally it’s the guy that forces the girl to find her own path, but here is the opposite. Often times, the male is expected to have life figured out but in reality that’s not always the case. Julis reaching out to saya for help shows just how much she cares for his well-being. I have two problems with the moment with saya: 1 the hypocritical rules of the dorms regarding opposite sex intruders. It set up so that the male is pretty much at fault regardless. 2 the slap. It’s not so much the action itself, but the reasoning behind it. Saya says ayato has no reason to doubt haruka, but did we not just find out she was in an illegal street fighting ring she neglected to tell ayato about or lied to him about? It felt too much a blind leap of faith without considering all the variables. The moment between ayato and saya when they were kids training with haruka did a great job of showing that haruka is a formidable fighter and a loving person. So they do have plenty of reasons to trust her. I just felt like saya should have gone about it a better way, like emphasizing that ayato has no reason to believe anything dirk told him, even if it is true. He may be honest but ayato has no way of knowing that. The second fight was a true block buster. The second world dragon pair was a lot more ruthless yet more technical as well. But what really made this fight great was that ayato’s developments were all established prior. He didn’t beat them with anything we didn’t already know about. We knew about the seals, we knew he was working on a way to extend his time limit, we already saw the ser-vesta power up in volume 2, and we already knew that his senses are heightened in the unsealed state. The only thing that’s different now is that he can stay unsealed for an hour, which is the product of his efforts prior and not written into the story with no prior basis. This is how a power up character should be done; gradual, tangible build up that doesn’t come from nowhere. I like that second seal doesn’t make him stronger or heals him up as well. Now that he can stay unsealed longer the next fights can be even more epic. The start of the third fight with saya and Kirin against ardi and remsi was on point. A classic case of robots unaware of how to deal with human thought pattern tactics The chairman’s talk with his subordinate revealed that he has his eyes set on ayato, as he knows that ayato is haruka’s brother. The talk between erenest and latitia sets the stage for the next gryps tournament and gives us more insight on their mentalities, which adds to the refreshing mix of council leader ship and philosophy between the different schools Dirk’s mobilization of the CATS and the disappearance of flora means trouble is ahead for julis and ayato. Overall: a great volume with the biggest amount of content and development thus far. Seriously a lot happened and it’s going to be interesting seeing how the author will juggle all the plots in the next volume. __________________ Join the Vanadis Discord
