I doubt that that was the end of the manga. Also, I assume they did a future spoiler so people can see right away that the story will progress quite a bit passed the movie and hopefully be excited about it.

im really late but meh screw it,

I really dont like how some series do that, it takes all the fun away of reading the story in my books, i know now how this will end up taking all the enjoyment with it since i know know what will happen but not why it happened. i know something will happen to naruto which will make others think he is dead, kanoha gets destroyed again, boruto gets the byagukgan from someone...hope its not his sister/mother and this other kid is the enemy.

I would rather they surprise me with the plot, now i have to sit though years of chapters(it is monthly afterall or is it bi monthly?) until they manage to connect all the dots to them facing off against each other.

The manga should wrap the movie storyline with the next chapter. So far, the only real positive thing I can say about this manga is that the art got better.

Though now I wonder, with the anime starting soon, are they even going to bother continuing this manga?

so u mean from Boruto chapter 1 until now is the manga version of the movie shown few months ago?

Except for the first few pages in chapter 1 which shows a flashforward, yes this entire manga has been an adaptation of the movie with a few extra scenes thrown in and a different final form for Momoshiki.

A ghost version of Momoshiki warns Boruto about the future and Boruto even have a curse mark (?)

My guess is that Kaguya having fused with the chakra tree makes it more difficult.

wow, boruto can already put lightning nature chakra into his weapons, that is stuff sasuke did after the timeskip at 15/16 years

and i liked that despite all that boruto wasnt winning on his own, he would have lost if it wasnt for his teammate,

but my favorite thing are the jutsus, on small scale they really are great to watch being used in battles, the wind-reflect barrier! love it!

hope this kind of battles will stay and not turn into superenergy spamming

I remember in an interview about Boruto the Movie, Kishimoto asked the staff to focus more on hand-to-hand combat to leave the ninjutsu for the last parts. While he is not writing this series, Kishimoto also said he doesn't want Boruto to become as strong as Naruto and Sasuke but still remain as a very skilled ninja so it doesn't become repetitive. Kodachi was the subscripter of Boruto so I guess he is following that

Ikemoto's artwork improved ever since the series' debut. While it's not Kishimoto, this is better

There is no doubt he has tremendously improved. I remember how horrid the first promo image for the manga looked.

Right now the art is pretty good, but it's the story that has taken a nose dive since the end of the retelling of the movie.
