Really, the ending was open. I sorta expected it since both girls are chasing Mizuho. If one do ends up with Mizuho, it would be a really sad story for the other girl unless she can stand strong even with that shock.
I enjoy it alot, too bad it didnt end with Takako but it hint Takako wont let Mizuho off without a fight. Hm, we should have a poll somewhere where with whom should Mizuho should end up with ^__^. Looking forward to the OVA, hope it explains what happens afterwards, maybe (hopefully) another season? Thanks GNU, for the hardwork. Good stuffz |

Spoiler:
After watching the series, I have to say that the animation staff did a nice job with changing the characters from Caramel Box's designs to their own, even the background characters look similar to the one from the PC game. Can't really get used to the theme, since I liked the PC one just as much, but that's just me. The only problem I have with the show? The was anime absolutely useless in helping me complete the game. It helped a bit, but even after a month or two, I'm *STILL* stuck with the Ichiko ending, no matter how hard I try not to go get her. Not that anyone in the game is bad, I just...really want to finish it and see what the 4th sidestory chapter is (I'm also following a scanned guide that came from a...scanned book by CB. Haven't checked the entire thread, but if anyone is interested, I could upload the more work-safe ones.) |

Well, that was fun, although...

I did like the way Spoiler:
So while it didn't quite make as much of the basic plot device as I'd expected, I still quite enjoyed it. Some of the scenes in the end credits of this last episode looked promising and wonder if any of those will be expanded on in the OVA? Thanks to GNU for all their hard work. |

Well - i believe that the final episode was done perfectly, just like the whole show has been since the first episode. Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru was always one of my favorite eroge-games thanks to its wonderful character line-up and settings, so i'm very happy to see that the anime version still has me believing that my original thoughts of the game are still here for the anime. I am a lil' upset that the piano BGM that was played for the dance scene with Mizuho and Takako didn't appear on the soundtrack. I myself know that most of the time certain BGM's from a series don't make it onto the actually soundtrack, though with this being such an important piece of music, that it would appear. ;_;
I plan to rewatch the series starting tomorrow - probably go about it with a episode each day at around seven, sounds like the perfect date if you ask me. :3

So i decided i was going to wait till the last 4 episodes came out then watch them all. Over all i was very satisfied with the series for what it was. It was fun and light hearted and i swear through out the series at one point i forgot that Mizuho was a boy. I thought the ending was done perfectly no compliants at all. I do however and see some others think this as well that the ending was left open for more. I wouldnt mind seeing more and learning more about Mizuhos mom.
Takako and Mariya were favorites character through out the series. The constant bickering made things fun and the fact that both feel for the same person made it all worth watching. There little heart to heart in the gazebo was done exceptional well as they both come to terms with each other and Mizuho. I agree with Mariya when she said they are more alike than different which is another reason for there rivalry. I couldnt help but to want Mizuho and Takako to end up together it would just be a change from the childhood friend romances. Watching Takako open up more and more and not being guarded was refreshing and the sleeping beauty play with her and Mizuho was one of my favs. Over all i would give the Otome was boku ni koishiteru an 8 of 10. The last scene with all the girls screaming Onee-Sama and charging was an appropriate end. michiko and Kei were so cute together i want to play game just so i can get some more info about them. Their both on list for fav characters as well. I was thinking about something else too. Mizuho is going to graduate and go to college. On the transcripts its going to list him as a female. Also, they would see that the school he graduated from was an all girl school so changing his sex would not solve the problem. Also. Does anyone think Mizuho would have a hard time adjusting to being a male again. I mean after all that training im sure it would be hard to get rid of all those girly habits?
