Ack. I just finished reading chapter 78.

Ok Beck has always been one of my favorite manga since the day I started reading it, but this Maho/ Koyuki relationship cliffhanger where they are both in Japan at the same time but for some strange reason can't get ahold of eachother is terrible. It's like Sukushi is purposely torturing those that want to see those two crazy kids meet up again.

Personally I think it's kind of a cheap trick that writers sometimes use just to extent the tention a little bit longer. We all know in the end Maho and Koyuki will end up together but we just have to go through this overly extended period of then not talking to each other. It's lame I think.

Koyuki-Maho relationship is just a side-element right now. There are many bigger things going on in the story (music mafia, devil's way - hope I get the name right) that will affect the status of the band around the globe. Although, if played based on the expectations, that part might signal the end of the manga.

I don't think it's allowed to ask for that. But anyone read chapter 79 yet? Man, I wanna find out if Koyuki finishes Devil's Way.

I'm a HUGE fan of this manga and I have been following it to it's latest scanlation, which is ch81. phase3's 82 scanslation should be out soon, but it's a week or two overdue. Is there a site that is like animesuki but for manga torrents?

Why don't you take a look at the post above yours.

I recently finished volume 29, and I'm still loving it.

I remember hearing about Beck long ago, thinking, "Haha, a music anime/manga, that's lame". Decided to watch the anime a couple days ago. I' honestly amazed and felll in-love with the story and characters. I honestly liked the music too. I had to grab the OST right after.

After finishing the anime I had to continue following the story, so I grabbed all the manga volumes and read them in one night. One word, Sick!

Really disappointed that their's hardly anyone translating chapters 81+. I know Phase 3 is scanlating Beck and I'm very happy and have much gratitude for them. Just wish they were faster >.>

Beck needs more spotlight

This thread needs to be revived! I'm surprised this manga isn't as popular as it should be. I got up to date and I'm in love with it.

Spoiler for vol29 spoiler:

It's probably because the translations come out randomly. Like every few months or so.

Personally, I thought it would've been more popular with the dub and all. But I guess it didn't do much.
