The activation of Absolute barrier =/= I.S. going off-line, notice that ByakuShiki used it twice, from Cecilia's sniper and Rin's Dragon Cannon. Byakushiki is not a defense type, so it wastes good amount of SP when using Absolute Defense. Houki activated it liberally during a fight with Char though and survive for a good amount of time because Uchigane IS defense-type, whose SP usage are damn efficient.

EDIT: Yukihira is an exception because the pilot deliver constant pressure, negating Absolute Defense's repelling force and breaching it. A barrier-piercing bullet is either deflected or even shatters instantly.

Also note that barrier piercing =/= armor piercing, Yukihira Nigata is special because besides being an anti-barrier blade, it's also high energy beam saber (notice the color difference with Laura's) that cna cut everything easily, no wonder it's such energy hogging unit.

So I was somewhat right about IS units still being able to function even with the AD barrier activated.

Though I never knew it would eat up so much power. I'm currently having issues with Chapter 8's pacing...

Well, I have posted it before even thought the canonicity is dubious (No official statement). The only well proven example is Schwarzer Regen during VT System Rampage.

One of them? What about two of them at once? Minerva's Lance (forget it's name, I'm very sorry) and Yukihira will do the job better. That, or one of them restrained Gospel so it can't escape. So the readers can't accuse Inami for spotlight stealing.

From the summary, she APPEARS like a nympho, even Ichika is annoyed after the nosebleed incident.

What I'm wondering the most about is how she reacts when the person she does it too doesn't go tranquil fury but more of being repulsed. Might be a shock for her so I'm curious.

She knew when to stop usually, but sometimes even she made a mistake in form of miscalculation...Ichika's tranquil fury and Kanzashi's anger being one of them. You can have Irish upset/ traumatized and Tatenashi will stop, horrified at herself for going too far.

I felt a dejavu, aren't we discussed this like 200 pages ago?

That was more on her being too pushy and trying to make him open up to others using ridculous methods. This is more on personal interaction between the two.
