I really don't like how long this misunderstanding is staying uncleared, but at the very least, I'm happy that the way they react to it is (mostly) natural. There's no violent tsundere reactions out of jealousy or anything like that - just insecure teenagers who are aware of one another.

sadly we still have to deal with those between On-chan and Soga. Luckily they're a secondary couple and not the main.

Even then, they have other reasons to be angry at one other other than jealousy. Soga is pretty much a gigolo, which can be reason enough for On-chan to treat him like an insincere man. In turn, On-chan's rudeness towards Soga is reasonable enough to make him angry at her. It's a vicious cycle.

It's still a step above the cliched violent tsundere reaction, where the girl is possessive over her love interest when she never had the courage to pursue an official relationship with him to begin with while the guy doesn't do anything about it.

That would be a LOT of work... seeing as it took me a month to coax Casanova to get this one chapter done. FWIW, we have both tankobons.

The next chapter will presumably come out May 27th... in the raw form. The magazine version of this chapter said on the very first page that it would be coming out every other month.

Yeah, I know. That's why pretty much every series out there doesn't get a "version 2" into tankoubon version. I also doubt that this one has hit it off well enough for someone to be that crazy about it.

The few series that get that treatment are usually because the scanlators only work mainly in a single series, or have the staff has that wonderful standard (I remember Hajime no Ippo, Jojo's Bizarre Advanture's & Umi no Misaki being reworked from magazine to tankoubon some time ago).

But isn't that the way a lot of kids that age (and a lot of adults too) work? Most are scared stiff of asking the other person. Assuming things is easier.

Hotaka and Awaya definitely, but I wonder about Soga. He seems to be considerably perceptive. So I wouldn't be suprised if On-chan actualy had feeling for "somone" else. (It wouldn't be first time such patern appeared in Yuyuko work afterall)

Meanwhile, On likes Soga, but he's distancing himself from her because he thinks she likes Hotaka?

What a mess...

I know it's not Takemiya's fault, but the two month+ wait drags this out even further...
