You know, at first it was refreshing to see a violent male tsundere like Mahiro since it's not common, but later on, it gets really infuriating when they take it to another level. If Mahiro really dislike her, then at least he's being honest, and blunt with it instead of dragging it for too long... But if he's just not being honest with himself, then its a different matter. Still Poor Nyaruko. ;_;

Why do you all forget this point? You all admit that if the moe anthropomorphism of the Crawling Chaos came after your body and you submit, it's likely to be on the losing side of a SAN roll right?

Then again if this is the price of sanity, who needs it

Nyarko 08 - The World The Elder Gods Only Know

...was my first choice for a review subtitle gag. Imagine my surprise when the show anticipated that, and made the gag for me. This episode marked a return to the manic style I loved from the first few episodes, a nice and loving tribute to the backbone of one of anime/gaming's most popular genres. Nearly everything hit. Quite a few more Haruhi gags than I was expecting, and the WORKING!! reversal was also hilarious. (So is Mahiro supposed to be Katanashi? Though he's also Yachiyo, when you think about it...) Even the outfits for the fighting tournament were perfectly cast, especially Hastur.

Only one toku gag this week ("Super Nyarko Time starts now!"), which is fine by me. The show's got a lot more material to mine than tokusatsu, so I'll fill this space with some fanart. Kamen Rider Den-O, Nyarko form.

This is probably the most screentime Tamao's ever gotten. She's not nearly as dynamic as the stars, but her normalifying presence is a must. Mahiro needs some sense of reality to compare the weirdness he experiences every day to. Overall, this episode took the idea of "cursed ADV" to its logical conclusion, had a great gag density, and even followed up on the previous week's developments.

Next week: ...why does Tamao have a gun?

The dating sim theme was really fun.
Mahiro was having a really weird day LOL
The events were pretty interesting and kinda cliche for dating sim.
It was a pretty cool idea to use this theme.
Never seen something like that in anime before.
The kiss part was really romantic.

this is probably the best episode after the first, i had a blast with this episode, the whole galge thing reminded me of the eroge seasons of sakura wich was a smash up of parodies to popular animes, also this is one of those series where i do like best the main heroine wich makes it more enjoyable.

Freaky as it sounds, but the scene at the end made me giggle like a girl in love since it seems Nyaruko remembers. Furthermore, seeing her all happy like that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
