i DO think that its a shame they ended up caving on the subject because its not "politically correct" or whatever.

art is suppose to be able to be controversial.

lol quoting sankaku as anything but partial "news" source is highly suspect of ones ability to discern reality from jingoistic fiction. I mean let's not forget the countless guro posts every other week that shows up on the site. Anyways the comments are just as hilarious, I lol'd real hard on the "china cannot be trusted" at least China isn't teaching that the Rape of Nanjing was not ordered by high ranking royal family memebers of the japanese army.

I fucking hate that website and some of the quotes in that website are disgusting and idiotic.

Its interesting how much territory conflict Japan have with its neighbors.

I think it would be good rule of thumb to be careful of linking to sankaku complex or just avoid doing so altogether since it's a rather, to put it lightly, controversial website. Not to mention it's also very NSFW.

So much hate going on between Japan and China that this may end ugly

Also... Do the sites have to be on a Hentai-sorta site?

It's sankaku complex. A random post on 4chan is likely to be more factually correct and less offfensive.

Why the hell Sankaku cares enough about a bunch of rocks (that should be part of China) I don't know.

In any case, it's a pile of rocks supposedly with oil that both sides want. Nobody even lives there. If America decides to intervene with Japan over that it's going to go down as a war for big money rather then Munich 1938.

>Let Japan drill
>Buy the company.

oh and btw China doesn’t have a monopoly on rare earth, although they pretty much are the only country actively mining it. The US has a fair amount of rare earth metals, but because of regulatory and environmental reasons, the mines have been closed. If you don’t believe me, google it and you’ll see.
Buy those lands, squeeze America by the balls. I say it will be a good system.

Economic crisis is the best example of this. This kind of crisis play an integral part in the actual economic system. In fact, it regulates this sytem and without it, the system can't work.
Bring back socialism?

I think it is a good choice EA made - not exactly good to stir up a storm in a teacup.

As much as I like to have my game to have the opposing force named Taliban, it isn't fair to the memory of the dead who died fighting them.

WTF.... Guess we can't go kill nazi's then because it would be offensive to those who fought and took part in the last "just" war. Or Guess we can't kill North Viet Congs because that would be a insult to all those that served in vietnam. What about Games like SOCOM? They have maps where you fight against Iraqi National guard, shouldn't that be pulled. I really don't see why "feelings" deserve so much pussyfooting? So should movies like the hurt locker, black hawk down, etc not be made because it's not "fair" to the memories of the soldiers who died in those conflicts?

Those game will probably turn in a bad way if this case isn't the only one to happen.

And I'm sure most US/US-allied soldiers wouldn't really mind since they understand the good guy versus bad guy dynamic the article mentions. That British general calling it to be banned is more scary to me than anything else.

If electronic arts want to include the taliban then they should change the name of this franchise and sever ties with the US armed forces (US army helped EA wit hthe apache mission). Medal of Honor brand is consistent and it is pro allied & american centric from PS1 to PS2.

For those who want to play the enemy there's a game called Call of Duty.

And you've asked people in the military about this I'm sure...
