Based on love simulation PSP game. The story revolves around a boy who just got a DSLR camera from his father on summer holiday. He usually always get bored with his previous hobbies but he decides to take photography a try and take the camera to his school on new semester. With that, the first step that changes his life is begins. The anime adaptation will be handled by Madhouse and aired on TBS and BS-TBS. Quote:

Great news indeed Hope this will be omnibus format like Amagami too
Wonder which story will they pick, I personally like story H(appy) better than L(ove). Bummed that the new game will be on Vita though. I really want to play the Love Love Days scenario; story after confession is always nice X3

Finally Akitoshi Yokoyama got a series... but I didn't expect this
This veteran is such a talented animator (what a coincidence, someone just did a MAD! thanks to AnimeBlue) who animated nice stuff in great series and worked a lot in recent years with Masaaki Yuasa and directed great episodes (his episodes are always worth watching). I looked forward to watching action/'serious' stuff directed by him for Madhouse so I'm kinda disappointed but that can't be helped. It's not like I hate this kind of series since I really enjoyed Kimikiss and somehow Amagami (it depended on the girl ). However I know he can bring great stuff with this kind of content, I would have been sceptical if I hadn't watched his episode of Idolm@ster (18).

Since the casts are so far same with the original game, you can hear what they sound as their respective character, along with the description and information of the characters (if you can read Japanese ), from the sample voice preview on the official site:
http://photokano.jp/maincharacter01.html http://photokano.jp/subcharacter01.html Both Amagami and Photo Kano are adapted from love simulation game published by Enterbrain?

TBS official site for Photo Kano is up. Nothing new though
http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/photokano/ Here's a picture of all heroines listed on the cast (except the MC and Ootani Momoko) taken from Photo Kano Pentaprism Memory novel for an idea how they look. Quote:
With many heroines, if it's only one cour then it probably focus on one girl (and most probably Haruka ) with other heroines show up here and there with part of their story taken. But if it's two-cour, then it's possible to have omnibus format. Then again, Photo Kano has bigger number of total heroines compared to Amagami, so if they want to cover the secret heroines too, each heroine will probably only have 3 episodes.

Nylon, the mangaka of Photo Kano Your Eyes Only posted the congratulation art work for the anime adaptation on Twitter and Pixiv :3
http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.p...st_id=31773326 Isn't it obvious enough? Harem anime is targeted for male viewers so it's only logical to budget money for popular female seiyuus to attract the target audience better, since only few cares about the male lead except he's really stand out/different than typical harem lead

Actually, the seiyuu cast as the male lead here is not only born within a decade of the year his character is supposed to be, but he's been excellent in his few roles so far. Any series that doesn't recycle the same half-dozen 30 or 40-something seiyuu who sound increasingly silly playing teenagers like almost every other series does has a step up in my book.
