Based on the first chapter, I'd add the sister to the mix. It seems she didn't really give much of a thought to him after moving to Ataraxia (for few years). Until she discovered that he could be used as battery, that is.

Though, I bet that sister, and probably mother, will come up with excuses that it was all for his sake. Because there's absolutely nothing between (ab)using or completely ignoring...

By the way, will the protagonist grow some balls over the volume(s)? Or will he stay as this kinda wimpy masochist? And no, some groping when they throw himself on him doesn't really redeem taking shit from everyone around.

^Thankfully he grows quite fast from this current phase of his. As you can see from the prologue, he will be the captain of the team and he do quite a good job in it.

As for the sister, you can give her some slack. Unlike his mother that didn't give any shit to anyone, his sister actually had the responsibility to defend a country that has been reduced to a single ship facing army of killer robot hell bent on exterminating the whole mankind, only with three Gear and many peashooters.

^Adding to that, isn't she the one who actually tried(somewhat) to console him when he was suffering from his inferiority caused by their mother(ie, note her lines to him that he recalls).

Going by the fact that of how their mother seems to have a somewhat of a superiority complex(her lines to him give me that vibe, coupled with her crazy history), does anyone else find it hard that she managed to find a guy to have two children from? My guess, is that they were conceived artificially, most like clones (or something thereof), considering their eerily similar character designs...

Lastly, does this dude not realize who Eros was? The greek god of love, or as most know of: Cupid(roman counterpart). Was this part said in English @baka? if not, then that would explain why he correlates it with something lewd.

There is the ero in eros, which in japan means erotic.
