I'm new and hesitant to get into Wuxia novels. I like the stories in them, but I hate Chinese names. I've found that I can get into them easier if I have a comic adaptation to start with. That's worked for both Douluo Dalu and Tales of Gods and Demons. But there are ALOT of Wuxia and most of it doesn't seem to have a comic adaptation.

So to start, anything that has a comic adaptation would be a good start.

Second, but less importantly, if there are any other series like the two I mentioned earlier where the characters absorbs monsters and steal their powers. Or travel to dangerous ruins in search of artifacts. Of course a power progression system is also nice.

I don't know about wuxia, but here's some series you might like:

Good Reaper
Life Howling
Battle Through the Heavens
Marchen - The Embodiment of Tales
