Thoughts about the new Op/Ed

Since I hate just about every anime OP in existance but love this new Naruto OP that should say something for it right. But I don't like the ending.

why cant they keep the animation steady???
i mean i have no doubt that i will be start watching again from this arc.

the opening animation was great. but the music kinda didnt make it for me.....
the ending was boring. animation and music. i yawned. and watched the intro again.
and i actually like ryuusei one, the music not the animation.
i could learn to cg somewhere else.

The opening was very good, both the music and the animation, very fitting too.
I also really loved Neji's Kaiten, awesome.

The ending sucked, it really, really did. Music - Bad, Animation - Horrible.

Oh well, one out of two isn't bad.

Did you notice that Sasuke and Naruto are standing on the hospital roof at the very beginning? Very nice.

I kinda like the new OP/ED. Some parts are a bit annoying but overall I like em. The songs remind me a bit of old school rock mixed with a little of the stereotypical disco era music.

Perhaps Beetles? Something like that.

Animation: A+

Just got done watching Anime heaven's version of naruto and the new opening was the best yet of all the intros. Too bad the ED sucked and could very possibly be the worst I have seen for naruto(other animes have worst :S) yet.

pfft, to those who said the OP song is bad, well at least keep an open mind. Just cuz it's not punk rockish doesnt mean it's not good....


I personally think the opening fits the animations quite nice

btw who sings it? at first i thoguht it was l'arc , but not sure now.

The new opening is just the best i've seen. I am still not so sure on the ending yet. I actually liked the ending where everyone seemed to be marching and they kept saying "Oh yeah!". I hated the bikinis one because most ninjas don't have time for trotting around in bikinis nor did we ever see them in bikinis they were always dirty and bloody from fighting.

the new opening is the best so far, IMHO.

put this together with the BEST ENDING EVER = "Wind" and it would make a wonderful combo.

but the current ending....well it is kind of retro which makes it kind of....cool....i guess...

i love the intro, the graphics are so cool, especially that shadowy thing. but im not too sure about the song, but i cant complain

The new intro is like the light at the end of the tunnel for me... Maybe it's a sign that these horrible sensless episodes that have been going on will stop soon.
Could just be me though, I've been reassuring myself that it'll be over soon for the last few days...

To give a better 'in-your-face' effect to the action sequences in the OP, this technique is pretty standard in the industry though.

The opening is the best opening for Naruto ever, period. I hated the ending though, it sucked. But the song was good though, the general 'theme' for that particular ending was just plain bad.

Two really 'old school' like songs. I enjoyed them. The op animation was great the ed animation was just for fun.

I think if I took some ecstacy, a regular Naruto episode would look like the new ending.

And what is Naruto running through, a barrage of Vegeta's fireballs?

BTW, excellent intro. Love the obvious foreshadowing. I'm assuming all the manga readers like myself said to themselves... "FINALLY!!!" Personally though, I wouldn't mind another filler just to kill time.

I totally agree with you. the new intro is the best that ive seen even better than Haruka Kanta. Animation wise and about on par with it music wise (need to hear the full version). The ending is the worse since the zoom into Naruto's back and the hokage mountain.

There will probably be another and darker intro later, because manga readers know that this arc is going to be LOOOONNNNGGGGG YEAH FLASHBACKS!!

Wow... my thought's exactly about the songs..... like most thought I think the animation and the song in the beginning were fantastic ..... although the ending animation wasn't nice.... i still feel that is was made to suit the song with the old school rock kind of thing...

still liked both songs... i think rockier songs are suitable for naruto since its an action anime although i liked ryusei too

Seriously... best animation on that opening... but the music is horrible... man i miss the second opening music.... The far far side kicked major ass... i play it occasionally.... it is really invigorating.
